Just got my appointment yesterday!!! I'll have my surgery on the 17th. I'm nervous , but so excited too! Anyone else have a date close to this?

Im unable to put my bra on because of drain tube... I have the tube for 3 more days... Kind of embarrassed to go out and walk. Anyone else have this issue?

I'm 25 and have two kids... I've spent all of my adult life caring for them and going to school. It's finally time that I worry about my health! I've been going through the process since January... My mother had the lap band a few years ago and that's what I originally wanted until I learned more about the sleeve.

Mine is at georgetown bariatric center.... In georgetown, ky. How long have you been going through the process?

I have my last apt today. I will meet with the surgeon and get my surgery date. I'm starting to feel really nervous, but excited. Anyone else have these feelings when you get closer to surgery?

I've told my family, friends, and boss. When I started the process I told a few close co workers that I was thinking about it and got their unwanted opinions. I just said "the doctor and I both agree that this will be a positive thing in my life an thank you for the unsolicited advice." I want people to know rather than worry about the drastic changes in my life, but I don't want to hear how it didn't work for someone they knew.
