    Surgery april 8...excited!

Hi Kazzygal, although I am tired a lot I am exercising 4-5 days a week for 45 minutes. I think I am tired because I can only manage to eat about 600 calories a day. I only ate 300 calories yesterday. My water intake is still not great. I get about 40-50 ounces daily. I'm trying to get a little more in everyday. I'm going to keep on striving towards my goals and see where I am in 6 months.

    Surgery april 8...excited!

Hi Kazzygal. I was also sleeved on April 8th & have lost 28 pounds so far. We are doing great! I don't have much hunger and was not getting in my protein goals until just a few days ago. Do you ever feel hungry? Do you mind telling me if your were able to reach your goals from weeks 2-4? If so, what were you eating/drinking? Best of luck to you and to our fellow April 8th sleevers!

    Hunger.

Mrs. Fox I'm so sorry to hear about your hunger. I was sleeved on 4/8/14 and I have the opposite problem. I'm not very hungry even at 6 weeks post op. This is causing problems for me getting in my protein. I finally started meeting my protein goals over the past few days. Are you drinking your protein early in the day & every time you eat? I wish you luck on your journey!

    Shakes

Hi - I am 6 weeks post op and was having a difficult time getting my protein in. I have since found Isopure protein drinks which actually look like juice. My personal favorite is the green tea flavor because it doesn't have the after taste like the other flavors. It is much smoother going down. They are expensive though. Best of luck to you.

3 weeks post op and Stressed

Hi. I know exactly how you feel. I had my surgery on 4/8/14. I've lost 23 pounds about 2 weeks after the surgery. But when I stepped on the scale today it appears that I haven't lost any more weight. I'm not going to worry just yet because I haven't eaten more than 700 calories a day. My suggestion is to stick with the plan and the weight will begin to come off again. Good luck!

Am I full? Should I eat?

Hi! I just had my surgery on 4/8/14 and I feel the same way. It takes me 2 hours to eat a 5.3oz yogurt. For now I just focus on trying to get my protein and water goals daily. I'm sure it will get better with time.
