Ready for plastics in mexico
AZDee replied to mrsplusamericajacksonville's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I am 7 weeks out from having my lower body lift and medial thigh lift with the best surgeon ever. I spent a whole year going to consults to find just the right fit, his incisions and sewing are flawless and his price was great too. Could not be happier. I posted some of my two week post op photos on my profile if you want to have a look my surgeon is Dr. Victor Gutierrez I found him at the site, realself, where you can read several great reviews on his work by other patients...if you want more info just message me... -
I guess this is too late to be of any help, but last year I went to Dr Quiroz April 10, 2013 and he did a lower face/neck lift a breast lift/implant and arm skin surgery. At first I gave him high marks as I did see a improvement, but was not happy that the breast tissue was simply folded over and sewn with what looked like a basting stich. These lead to horrible scars. The arm incision was cut at a angle and there was a 3 inch pulled area at the bottom of both arms. The face was the best of the three but I still was left with the deep lines running from the noise to the mouth. Then it was time for my lower body lift, hubby was not happy with the outcome from Dr Q so I started going to other Plastic Surgeons for consults everyone of them told me I needed to have revisions on all of the work Dr Q had done. The arms need to be recut and sewn, the breast need to have the implants removed and the whole pocket rebuilt, plus the face should have been pulled tighter. It was also at this time that I found on the site, realself, a pattern of sloppy work as told my many of his patients that also had the same type of folded skin with a basting stich...The clinic is beautiful and Dr Q is very charming and charismatic but you will only be at the center for a week or so and you will have to live with the outcome of your surgery for a lifetime or when you have a revision....I would steer clear...If you need a PS in TJ I would recommend my new surgeon Dr Victor Gutierrez, you can read about him on realself, he has several great reviews there.

Question about surgery in Mexico
AZDee replied to TonyaNKy's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I just had a lower body lift in TJ with a wonderful surgeon, who is a board certified PS plus a micro-surgeon so his incisions are flawless...Please take your time and really research this, I spent a whole year looking for the right surgeon. I went to CosMed last year and had a terrible outcome, my arms need a revision as well as my breast. The implants need to be removed and the pocket rebuilt and then they have to heal for 6 months before another implant can be put in. I wish I had found my surgeon back then. My new surgeon is Dr Victor Gutierrez and he specializes in WLS patients also. He has a 5 star rating from realself. That's how I found him and I am so glad I did. -

I am about 7 weeks out from having a lower body lift and a medial thigh lift in Tijuana Mexico. I flew to San Diego and was picked up at the airport and then a week later I was taken back for my flight home. I went to Dr. Victor Gutierrez. who not only is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon but he also has a specialty in Micro-Surgery so his incisions and sewing are the best I have seen anywhere. I spent a whole year going to 10 consults with surgeons in Beverly Hills and LA even talking to a well known surgeon deep in Mexico. But was not happy with the results or the prices. Results of course were the main thing, but a couple that I really liked as in the case of the BH, PS were $40,000 so that knocked that one right out the window. Then I saw some of Dr. Gutierrez's patients reviews on another site and checked out his clinic. I found out he was trained in Israel where the standards are some of the highest in the world and also that he is a micro-surgeon so I started reaching out to his previous patients and really liked what I heard, so I took a leap of faith and went with him and I am so pleased. The year before I went to another TJ clinic, it was a big fancy clinic with white marble and glass, and it turns out 2 of the three procedures that were done need to be revised so I was a little gun shy of going back to TJ, but now I am so happy I did. Dr Gutierrez will also be doing the revisions that I need in the future...
