  6. I was the same for two days, I ate a little something more today then the past two and it's on the move...
  7. Yeah of course u can't but with our new tiny stomachs can you even drink 20 oz in one shot? Of course not
  8. Yeah some people do complain about an aftertaste. I'm basing my judgment on the 1 that I tried... But it's a nice get away from a shake. I hear very cold is the key. Mine was super icy!
  9. I'm up for a fb group. I too use myfitnesspal and find it to be very helpful. I also use a fitbit!
  10. Has anyone tried any of these? I has one today and it wasn't too bad, I recommend ice! But 40g of protein in 20oz!! zero carb! A little pricey but worth it occasionally!
  11. At my doctor follow up now. Last visit I was 313-(2 weeks preop) now I'm 288 at a little over a week postop. Hoping the doctor says all seems well... I have one stitch that he'll be removing, looks pretty nasty as if my skin in pulling it in!? I'm guessing he's going to tell me I've been doing too much- we will see- currently waiting!
  12. Thank for letting me know this was here! Haha my loss I was talking about on the other post was preop liquid and my one week. I think it'll be a great idea to post our stats weekly! haha we have such a wonderful organizer here- lyla!!
  13. 4 different types found by the lunchables in the refrigerated section. Walmart also carries them
  14. Stopped into work today and seen some coworkers off the first time in about 2 weeks and was already told I look different!! 25 lbs gone in 2 weeks!!!
  15. When is the pain happening?- after eating/drinking?
  16. Hey guys- tomorrow if my 1 week!!! I feel pretty good, I've been getting out and getting my little girl into the stroller for two walks day the past 2 or 3 days... We've made 10k+ steps total the past two days (as per my fitbit) I'm dong well with the vitamins, fluids are good and protein is great! I've concocted a few 30-40gm beverages( that take me 2+ hours to sip sip sip on) I'm down 20 pounds with my preop diet and my postop thus far! When I came home from the hospital I was almost 5 lbs heavy then when I went in due to fluids and stuff, but that's gone and then some!( I don't know if I should consider my weight what I went in with, or came out with... To calculate just post op loss... ) I hope you are all feeling and healing well. Take your time... And sip, sip, sip... And little step, little step, little step!
  17. Thanx, yes I was actually sleeved a week ago tomorrow! All went well, good luck!!!
  18. I didn't get one. I wonder if I can ask for photos at my postop visit. I do know he had a photo of him operating the robot during my surgery with it being the first robot assisted at the hospital!
  19. Also sorry for those with pain and complications. I'm a 27 sleever(with a 9 month old) so I have to be up and Alert and active. I do have an extra set of hands with me while my husband works, thanx to Family- so I can avoid lifting my little tank. I have gone out and made not only a few walks, but two store trips also. I'm not probably getting enough liquid in but I am certainly trying: also attempting to concoct high protein shakes to get a lot of protein into a little bit of liquids. As far as vitamins: I did go the bariatric advantage route that my surgeon recommends: I got the calcium chews so that's no problem- but the multi vites with iron- too big to swallow- I have been opening the capsule and mixing with applesauce or yogurt or soup. The vitamin part isn't easy because I am taking a vitamin or 2(also taking 10000mg biotin) every 2 hrs because ya can't take calcium and iron together... I wish everyone luck. I think in the end we will all be well and beyond happy with our choices and happy with our results even thru our struggles!
  20. Recommend full liquid for 7 days switching puréed for a week to two and then soft for a week to two
  21. perhaps it is the contrast from my leak test also. I was also doing a lot of reading online and basically " liquid in, liquid out"
  22. I'm on full liquid. Any and everything I've consumed has been within guidelines. I don't have any pain or stomach issues... It's not "explosive" I did have one bm at the hospital similar and I let them no and they didn't seem to think anything of it? I guess if it keeps up or gets worse I will call the surgeon.
  23. Not to be graphic or tmi... Has anyone had any bm issues? I've gone quite a few times, obviously very loose.. :-/ I usually hear stories that people don't go for days on end...
  24. Started trying to yet vitamins in today. 10000mg biotin, one(of three) bariatric advantage multi with iron that I opened into a vanilla yogurt and two fiber gummies. In about 2 hrs I'll shoot for my first of three calcium chews.. We shall see how this goes
  25. a major practice I wish I would have done was no eating and drinking at the same time. Waiting 30 minutes after drinking to start eating and another 30 after eating to start drinking again. It's probably a good idea to try that preop. I never did...
