  2. 5/27 and Im down 30 from surgery 45 including preop diet. My struggle is that... Sometimes I eat too quickly/ mostly because my job forces us to do so- as a hairstylist in a volume salon breaks r few and far between at times.... So ya chomp down when ya can.. I eat around 600-800 cal a day as well- and weather permitting try to get 2-2.5 miles in. Feeling good no regrets

    Week 6: May 27-31st Sleevers

    HW 315 Sw 300 CW 271 Slow weight loss this week but I know I wasn't getting all my Protein and liquids everyday. Some days not getting my normal walks- basically a very busy week for me... But 2 lbs is good. Some of my family( when asked) said they hardly noticed a difference- thanx! My aunt however said I looked great! I see a huge difference already- unfortunately I stand in front of a mirror alllll day long so I can't help but to look
  4. A little nervous after signing my surgical consents today... Not because of the disclosures, but because the nurse navigator basically told me... The insurance may not approve because I had a gain. I was 303 at the start and am now 311... They are sending off for approval.... :-/ wondering if anyone with Aetna better health or medical assistance can ease my mind any... Surgery should be two weeks from tomorrow.

  10. I haven't had a breakfast bowl in ages- aren't the full of carbs or are these the light ones? I usually just do an "espresso protein" shake and consider that my breakfast- 30 G protein but food would be nice
  11. Alxmak seems like ur doing real well based in ur numbers! I know it's frustrating- I had almost two weeks that my scale crawled by ounces and that was all. Keep up with ur plan

  18. Monday weigh in day! I'm sooo happy to say my scale is on the move again! HW: 315 SW: 300 (5/27) CW: 279.9 Tomorrow is 4 weeks out and I'm down 20 lbs SINCE surgery! I went to torrid last week and for a swim suit on clearance- no biggie really but they were having a BOGO on clearance so I grabbed a pair of jeans a size smaller- thinking these will fit me one day. Out of curiosity I put them on ya home and they fit perfect! Yeah sure I has noticed some room in my old clothing but I didn't realize I was down a size already! Hope everyone is doing well. Do we have anymore that want to join our PRIVATE group on Facebook? there are about ten of us there and the support is really nice!

    Surgery with a Baby

    I just wanted to update you: I'm 4 weeks post op and have done just fine with my baby. She's almost 10 months old- the first few days I did have someone else around to do the lifting and such but I felt real good and had gotten off pain meds quickly and started my walking the day after being home. So far I'm 35 lbs down!
  20. I've been walking 2-2.5 miles almost daily since 4 days post op- I have done two days at the g, cardio only- but getting there is a bit tough with a baby and working opposite schedule to my husband.

    GERD/Reflux

    I'm 3 weeks out today and having horrible reflux! I will probably be putting a call in to my doctor tomorrow!
  22. Also- I'm also in mfp- sh3iz there also! Does anyone use the recipe option there? I love it. I usually weigh the end result and put my "recipe serving" size as the total ounces n when I eat it I can portion it out by the ounce. Like if it weighs 15 oz total I say it's 15 servings(even if it isn't) and if I take two ounces I input 2 servings-- easier then calculating cups or whayevr
  23. Should we technically be in week 4? New thread? Lol I'm lost! Everyone is doing so great! I've walked almost every day since surgery at least one mile( usually 2-3) I went back to work last week and just did three 4-5 hr shifts at the salon. I have also been to the gym twice- just for extra cardio!
