I am getting alot of attention. It is some what disturbing because I am not used to it. Just yesterday i went into the local library & was propositioned. The guy said you are so feminine i am hoping your not married so i can go home with you. Really! I told him well i am married see my ring. Geez Men dont care if your married. I have currently started counseling to learn how to not feel guilty for blossoming. My husband is attending with me because me living my new life has him scared to death. My husband & I this weekend in Albuquerque, NM at the Balloon festival. Anyone else running into these problems?

Cool picture!! Good for you!!! I haven't tried running yet....I've tried in the past, and I think my body just wasn't made for running, LOL. But then again, I didn't try at this size either. I just stopped in a store to order my Mom flowers and the lady in there says, " My goodnesss, You're just a faint memory of your old self, You'd better be careful, you'll blow away! Haha!! Yes I understand my legs felt like cement blocks when I started. I now look forward to running it makes me feel so good. People are not recognizing me. I say hi do you know who I am. They say no mam I dont. Lol Then they are like no way and are proud of me. We are all awesome!

Hey ladies been mia for a little while. I love seeing all the great progress on everyone. I am now down 143 pounds. I have started exercising and am signed up for my first 5K in Denver September 19th. I look at my old pics and do not want to ever go there again. I was at a stall for a little while but I was not eating as healthy either. I am back on track and 28 pounds from my goal weight. I will not weaken!! Love you all!

I really think everyone should know this. I ran into a couple friends today who had the mini gastric bypass (mgp) in Henderson NV. First I ever heard of it. Any how one friend has done ok 5 years out & lost 85 pounds. The other friend is malnourished, a smoker, heavy drinker, non compliant with her vitamins & calcium. She now weighs 100 pounds & has a feeding tube. She was walking the other day & her leg broke above her knee from being calcium deficient. She is now going to have a reversal surgery. This is serious maintaining our health & taking our vitamins/calcium on a daily basis. Pretty sad when you see it with your own eyes.

Thanks everyone! I had to put this picture up the day I dropped off my oxygen tank. It was such an awesome feeling! I used oxygen at night on occassion with my cpap. I was on cpap for 2 years. I had my surgery on October 1st. I saw my pulmonologist during my 6 month follow up appointment in Denver. I was also under the impression that I had to redo a sleep study. My Dr. said it is not necessary plus he knew I was planning to lose more weight. He said it would be a waste of time because then we would just have to repeat it. I was in the 110% on my breathing test. I think mostly was that my husband could tell a huge difference when I slept at night. Presurgery he used to hear me quit breathing then gasp for air. Losing 130 pounds has changed my life. I am so thankful!

My pulmonologist told me I didnt have to use my cpap anymore. I have quit snoring & am well rested. He said there is no need for it.

I had 2 sons graduate. One from college & the other from high school. Of course I ordered them custom made cakes and they were both so good. The first graduation I gained 8 pounds which I think had something to do with the bloody marys (v8 juice). Then the next week 2nd graduation I had lost 5 of the 8 lbs I gained but loved the cake. I almost wished I would have gotten sick so I would of quit eating it. Finally got rid of the rest of the cake and am now going to get back on track. I am so dang close to the one hundred & something. Its so easy to go back into the bad habits. Scary...

Hey David have you heard of Dr. Herald Villalobos from Columbia? -
My scalp dont itch but my hair has thinned alot. Luckily I started with thick hair. I do see short hair sticking out in places so I am hoping its starting to grow back. I take my biotin everyday. My docs office said to get in your protein daily. This will help with thinning hair etc...
