I do not understand 'no restriction left"

    Very worried

I hope you received diet progression instructions from your surgeon. Did you get a protein goal to hit?

I do not understand 'no restriction left"

My restriction is still there and working after 4 years. Statistics I've seen say revisions are rare. I have compassion for anyone who has had a large weight gain or complications. The sleeve stretching scenario leaves me baffled. Are the mental health evaluations identifying eating disorders pre surgery? Are surgeons offices/medical community intervening if someone is binge eating past capacity repeatedly?(stretching their sleeve) Do people confuse stretching their sleeve with grazing? It's not that the sleeve has stretched. Grazing is not eating past the feeling of restriction. Grazing: Consuming poor food choices and/or excessive calories in many meals over, over and over throughout the day. The amount of calories would be as if you never had surgery. The weight would come right back. any thoughts?

    Feeling down

Currently 301. 200's coming your way...You are doing great! changing to do more physical activity can be done. Motivation is something we all have to find for ourselves. What motivates me may not motivate you. Many days I had to force myself to get activity in. I was a true couch potato. A large reason I was so overweight and my health was in decline. I always put other people first..Work, kids husband etc. After surgery, I made myself a priority. Third month I had a large stall. I had to admit to myself I needed to get real about my exercise commitment. Exercise has made a difference in my weight loss. Working out doesn't mean it has to be high impact. If it's cold outside a treadmill in you home, walk a mall or a gym membership works well. Workout videos, weights at home...Lots of options. Celebrate and give yourself credit for what you have accomplished.
  5. All great advice above. All I'm going to add is be consistent. If you slip up get back on your plan.

    Liver Anxiety

If there was an issue with your liver pre surgery your surgeon's office would have said something by now. The liver shrinking diet is normal pre surgery. Follow the instructions.

    Emotional eating and food addiction

You are right. It's wise to make eating healthy sustainable long term. Many healthy options at fast food places. Low carb burger, grilled chicken, salads. etc...

    Who will like me skinny??

You said That doesn't mean i'm not a good person *laughing* WTF??? Never said you were not a good person...????? You said "find someone who would like you at any size makes me laugh." I can rephrase it if this helps - " find someone who is attracted to " whatever size you currently are" Because that size is going to change rapidly. I'm confused. How did being shallow have anything to do with this. *laughing* We are attracted to who we are attracted to.

    Who will like me skinny??

More important to find a good man that treats you well and likes you at whatever size you are. That size is going to change rapidly. Something to think about..... Will you be attracted to the same type of men? Will your preferences in men change as you lose weight? What type of men will you have things in common with once you are 148?

    Emotional eating and food addiction

It's not always stress/emotional eating or addictions that make you obese. People gain weight when they eat more calories than they burn through activity. This imbalance is the greatest contributor to weight gain. Other factors: poor nutrition education/misinformation Your location : Lack of access to healthy food choices Genetics/family history medical conditions medications life style and habits lack of activity/mobility issues Aggressive food marketing and availability of poor quality food. Even if you don't have the food addiction or stress/emotional eating. You still have to make changes to whatever got you to the point of having surgery. https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/adult/causes.html https://www.nichd.nih.gov/health/topics/obesity/conditioninfo/cause

    Regrets???

I regret being obese. I was miserable. physical activity was a struggle. My health was in decline. I missed out on activities and things in life due to my weight. I hated buying clothing in plus size stores. I'm almost four years out..... Absolutely no regrets having surgery. I have my health back. I'm in the best shape of my life. Eating healthy is still flavorful and just my normal life. Enjoying life, having adventures and making up for lost time.

    Not taking my vitamins

Always trust the medical professionals on health issues... I'm not a Dr. I'm not recommending anything. Some do fine without bariatric vitamins. (They supplement with over the counter). others have malabsorption issues that cause deficiency. Health risk Study below. https://www.hindawi.com/journals/jobe/2012/608534/

    Not taking my vitamins

Not sure what answers you are looking for here.... you said: (1) I know all of the negatives that come from not taking vitamins (2) yes I do know that it is bad reasoning and that the problems will arise long term. (3) test soon to see if I am lacking with any of them which I am sure I am. I guess my question is have any of you not taken your vitamins religiously/.How did it affect you? And this maybe a silly question but does it affect weight loss at all? I Took my vitamins and blood test are all great. I'm healthy and happy as a result. Weight loss was great.
