Spanx do wonders for my loose skin. My mid-section is an issue. My waist measurements are very different when I wear them. From 29-inch waist to a 26. (gives you the idea of how much skin I have) My clothing fits so much better when I have shapewear on. (my last photo is spanx off)
  3. Your body is going through rapid to change. Be kind to yourself As women. I think we are too critical about out perceived flaws. We put a lot of value on our appearance. I hope your weight loss and new found energy will boost your self esteem. See how you feel about loose skin after goal. Decide if its livable or you can investigate plastics. It may be time to work on soothing emotions with food. We are all a work in progress.☺️

  10. Congrats on your surgery. Yep, I was in a dark place before surgery. Use this year to overcome the mental battles. Work on yourself inside and out. Its one of the greatest gifts out of this process. I’m making up for lost time struggling with obesity. I am a participant in my life and refuse to sit o the sidelines.

    Surgery and cannabis

Laughing - It has the same affects as pre surgery. It’s no different after surgery. Personally, I can take it or leave it. If it triggers hunger for you it may be an issue.

    Need advice

You have not screwed up. Life’s stresses happen. The great thing is you got on this before a significant weight gain. Many of us have had the 15 to 20-pound gain years out. You are not alone. Glad you reached out for support. I am a sleeve. My restriction is noticeably less but my stomach is not back to full size. All I can offer is what has worked for me. Some things to try for hunger and filling the extra space you may be experiencing. Get back to basics. Log your food stay within your weight loss calories/macros, hydrate and exercise/activity. (Food log aps myfitnesspal or baritastic) Get temptation foods out of the house go shopping for items on your plan. Just because we can eat more does not mean we have to eat over your calories and gain weight. For me, simply staying in my calories and macros and the scale moves. With your protein and other items on your plan. Allow yourself to eat as much veggies until full Extra carbs and real sugar can make you crave them more and cause hunger. Detox off them. Keep healthy options on hand to satisfy sweet and salty cravings. Night snacking. Keep a veggie tray and some berries in the fridge allow yourself to snack on these items. If you try to bargain with yourself for other options its head hunger. Some will offer advice on pouch reset (going back to liquids and progressing back to real food stage) Decide for yourself if this is too restrictive. it may cause you more hunger. For some it helps to feel restriction a bit more – It does not shrink your pouch. We have a weight loss challenge for support and motivation. Vets - How often do you weigh yourself?

Vets - How often do you weigh yourself?

I weigh daily out of habit. I see weight fluctuations of two/three pounds but basically stay the same weight. (130's) Food logging – I use it mostly for training. I have two half marathons coming up. I can adjust my diet to gain muscle, fuel a distance run, manage my diabetes, lose/maintain weight using one app. There are times I break from logging and dieting. life and indulgences should be enjoyed. It’s not much work for me to maintain a ten-pound bounce range up and down the scale. I’m used to this after five years. When I hit the high end of my weight, I go back to logging and work it back off.

  23. If you are not at goal yet, ask your dietician for advice on diet changes. Give them your workout routine and calories burned. If you are at an athlete level, you may want to hire a sports medicine dietician. Dehydration. I use NUUN tabs in my water. Test them out to see if they sit well in your stomach. https://nuunlife.com/
