Highly considering Sleeve Surgery .. Any takers on their experience? :)
Healthy_life2 replied to asolma's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Every surgery come with pain. Broken legs mend, Pain from child birth and right now some one in the world is struggling through pain from cancer. I could go on and on..... The pain from surgery is temporary. Life gets back to a new normal. I would go though temporary pain again and again to have this life changing experience. -
Highly considering Sleeve Surgery .. Any takers on their experience? :)
Healthy_life2 replied to asolma's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@asolma I'm 3 months out. My sleeve surgery was a life saver for me. I was to a point I had given up on myself. Now I look forward to so many things. My self confidence is back. My attitude is positive. The weight loss is a perk (ok its also fantastic too). I just can't believe how good I feel. Enjoy researching weight loss surgery. So much information out there. Here is one of my favorite motivating videos. This woman is 18 months out. She has a video blog of her journey. Let me know what you think. -

Few random questions
Healthy_life2 replied to Amanda-Lee's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@Amanda-Lee To do it now or later..... Nothing stopped me from having my sleeve ASAP. I was ready right after I received my insurance approval and surgery date. I don't believe weight has anything to do with the healing process. We all are different. So each persons healing will vary. I was lucky. I bounced back quickly. Your Dr. will let you know what your limitations are after surgery. The day I was released from the hospital I used a pillow on my tummy to stop the pressure and rubbing from the seat belt. Took me a few days before I could drive. My question is.............What are you waiting for? -
1 week post-op...are the changes I'm seeing normal?
Healthy_life2 replied to NuLife4Coy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congrats! Keep it up your healing well. Yes this sounds normal to me. Great benefit to your weight loss wearing shoes that fit:) -
Had date night with my husband The night was incredible. Late summer dinner on a restaurant patio with Water falls. The live entertainment was wonderfully unexpected. My husband took a photo of me and said...Amazing then he smiled at me. He placed the photo on the front page of his phone. I realized that night that i am present and a active participant in my life...I live in the moment. I'm so happy and thankful

Weight comes off here and there
Healthy_life2 replied to sue_t's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Oh yes, I'm in the gym working on my areas that have been slower to loose. It is interesting to see where the weight comes off first. I'm trying to build muscle in the areas that are in need to loose inches. Hope I'm on the right track... -

Is it me, or is it them?
Healthy_life2 replied to SandeeD's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My attitude and confidence have changed with weight loss. People respond to my changes in mostly positive ways. I'm not comfortable with people talking about my weight loss. I feel the need to justify it somehow. You are far more than numbers on a scale. With the other changes in your life people are responding to you differently. Celebrate these moments! -
I love this. Please count me in as well.
