    Sushi

Funny enough the "sushi" I have been eating are actually cooked rolls..I have the tempura chicken, fish, etc. Instead of raw ingredients, as I agree, I dont want to risk getting sick on anything right now.... But like I said sushi rolls go down much easier at this point, as does any type of fish for me,.... I can even tolerate small amounts of rice around the roll! Not to mention I crave it all the time, and its got good protein.

    Sushi

Hello....I have been away for a while because I went back to work on May 12th..... I was actually sleeved at the Christus Bariatric Center in Beaumont Texas on the 14th of April. So far I have been able to eat mostly soft things...Sushi is amazing!!... Not sure what it is, but this goes down really easy and I can tolerate it very well. The the first time this past Thursday evening I actually ate the whole roll that was my limit but it was such a huge step forward for me... It actually took me about 45 minutes to eat the whole roll which was about the size of a gold dollar....rice and all!... I think it is extremely strange that I can tolerate this yet I cannot tolerate eggs at this point... And I can literally only eat about 2 to 3 teaspoons at one time. Other than that all seems really well at this point I'm glad I did this.... I feel so much better now than I did at the beginning, and i have lost a total of 48 pounds...Sushi anyone?

    1 month post op tomorrow.

Hello...I'm new to the forum, and I was sleeved April 14, 2014. I have lost a total of 43 lbs but with some pretty crazy complications...I had a pretty bad reaction to my incision tape, and really haven't been able to eat but teaspoon size amounts every four or five hours. I always take my vitamins, but it takes me almost all day to do so. I developed a kidney infection, and my allergic reaction to the tape is still clearing up....sigh....I kept thinking I am just being dramatic, but seriously, im weak and tired. My Dr is great, and his staff are extremely supportive....however, I go back to work Monday the 12th, and I travel every week for my agency. My biggest concern, ...dragging luggage through a busy airport, when I barely have the strength to make dinner for my family!...I have made protein my priority, but seriously, can't stand the shakes!...any suggestions for my concerns?...all would be most welcome!!
