I was sleeved on June 14th. Everyone is telling me I look great and I'm just getting skinnier however, I've only lost 34 lbs and have been in a stall for 3 1/2 weeks. Not sure where I should be right now? I think I'm losing more in inches than lbs. Only getting in about 600-700 calories a day. Does anyone know if I am about on track?

I had my sleeve done by Dr. Lopez in PV on 6/14/14. It was great. Everything went better than I had expected. I had very little gas pain and was out walking on the beach 2 days after surgery! I flew from Little Rock, AR to Houston, TX to Puerto Vallarta for $467 a ticket round trip. I'm 3 weeks out and so far so good!

I was sleeved on 6/14. My HW: 224, SW: 208, CW: 190. I was feeling so good after surgery that I made the mistake of doing too much. Last Saturday in this hot Arkansas weather, I was helping my daughter move into her apartment and didn't take the time to drink fluids. BIG MISTAKE!!! I started getting dizzy and lightheaded. I'm still weak and dizzy, 5 days later, after trying to get in as much fluid as possible. I'm just now starting to get back balanced! I probably should have gotten fluids IV but decided to try to drink, drink drink! I can't stress enough to keep hydrated!!!!

I had my surgery 6/14/14 and have been off my Meloxicam since 6/6/14. Yesterday, my knees and other joints started to become inflamed. So, I emailed my WL surgeon today and he said I could take it as long as it was with food and Omeprazole. So, I hoping it will be okay. Also, I'm getting a steroid shot in my knee tomorrow.

I was just wondering how you were doing?Thanks so much! I'm back in the hotel 3 days post op ... Got my suction tube removed today and feel really quite good. Pain at this point is minimal and have had only 2 occasions where I felt nauseous ... The key is to stop whatever is making you feel yucky right away, breathe deep and spit in a cup until it passes.... I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO HUNGER! My wife is reminding me that I should get some calories in ... Totally weird for me, to be sure! Not having any problems with keeping Protein down ... so far so good!Note: They changed the hospital on me at the last minute due to a problem with San Javier's surgical suites which gave me pause ... Not at all up to American standards in my opinion, but in the end I went through with it and am right as rain. Good luck tomorrow, I'm pulling for you!Well, I'm back to the hotel only stayed in hospital 1 night, thank goodness. Today, 2 days post op, I feel pretty good. I Actually sit by the pool awhile today. Now, I going to eat with my daughters! Well, watch them eat! Its amazing I'm not hungry at all. Hope we continue to heal with no complications.My wife is out shopping and I spend time walking around the Marina ... I'm in the lobby reading right now, going home tomorrow. No pain, no hunger, eating soupy stuff lolSo which hospital did they send you to? Medica Ebor? Or San Javier? Glad you are well! Let's keep keep in contact.I have a little pain especially trying to get down those big antibiotic. The hospital was the older, Medica Ebor! I felt defiantly culture shock! It reminded me of just a doctors clinic we have in the eastern delta region of Arkansas. However, I think the doctors did a very good job. So far so, so good. I haven't started worrying about protein or anything until I get back home. I'm just trying to take in enough fluids to stay hydrated. So why Mexico? I see that a lot and am just curious.Several reasons mainly financial.

I have 3 days left before surgery! I've been cleaning, yard work, and packing for Mexico. I started clear liquids today. I'm getting so nervous! I hope I've packed everything I will need! I'm dreading the post-op negatives but looking forward to losing weight so my poor back and knees will not be under so much stress.

I'm 5 days along with my pre op diet and down 10 lbs, but boy I never realized how tempting a costco Hot Dog could be... Lol I'm getting sleeved in Puerto Vallarta on June 11, actually my birthday, with Doc Lopez as well! I covet those prayers and will extend my own prayers and good wishes. Yup, scared and excited too! Fingers and toes super crossed! Also, Happy Birthday and Best wishes on the best birthday present on a new chance at a healthier life. Praying for us all!

Maybe I'll see you down there! I'm trying to do everything Pre-opt to a T, so I know I give my body the best chance for a successful surgery. I'll be looking for you. Do you know of any others?

I started my Pre-Opt diet yesterday. So far, so good! I didn't cheat and had to sit and watch my daughter and her boyfriend eat Mexican food, attend my grandsons birthday party with cake ice cream and all the goodies, and then watch my daughter make and eat a Reses Carmel cake with cool whip! I made it and didn't want it at all. I'm determined to do it right! My life depends on this. My surgery is scheduled for June 14th in Puerto Vallarta with Dr. Lopez. I am so nervous but yet excited to get the help I need to lose weight. I pray for everyone involved with my WLS from the airline pilots, Dr. Lopez and his team of medical professionals as well as myself. Will anyone out there have surgery down there on June 14th?
