Hi Brendani not all surgeons require a pre op diet mine in Perth didn't all i had was one day on clear fluids before surgery so if this is whats holding you back may be check out other Baratic surgeons in you area -

Good evening All had my appoinment today in Perth with the surgeon and dietesion and i have a surgery date of 23rd of july , and i don't have to do the Opti diet before hand :) -

8 weeks and 21kg thats awesome on both levels 8 weeks on opti must have been hard to achieve . i have my appointment with the surgeon and dietetsion tomorrow in Perth and i should get my surgery date then as well hopefully it wont be to far away -

Good evening all I have read hundreds of your posts and love them all and they confirm I have made the right decision to have the sleeve surgery but I am wondering if any one had/has type 2 diabetes and what effect being sleeved has made to the control of there diabetes Cheers Phil -

Hi Krystal i dont have my surgery date as yet but i expect it to be around the same time as you in Perth ,who is your surgeon In Perth as there only seems to be a couple who do this procedure -

HI Guys i am another newbie about to start changing my life with Gastric sleeve i am 49 years old 145kg and type 2 diabetic i have spent the past twelve months reading posts and still find the whole process scary ,i now have the referral from my gp and i have sent of the forms to get things started
