I had my VSG done one week ago from yesterday. I did my first weigh in today and I've already lost 16 pounds! I am so excited. My knees already hurt less and so does my back. Despite the hard diet and lack of energy at times I can't wait for all the good things that are going to come!

To anyone out there planning on having VSG done, all I can say is DO IT!!!! I have no regrets! I wish I would have done this years ago. Even though I'm tired at times, I'm still doing more now than before my surgery which was 8 days ago. I'm sleeping better, my thinking is clearer, and my overall attitude is positive! I know it's still a bumpy road ahead, but a road I'm glad to be on!
