Hi all. It's been a long time since I've checked in a lot has happened. I am 4 months post op and down 47 pounds. I have been at a stand still for a while and am getting discouraged. Anyone have some encouragement? On another note, I do have something serious to share. I have a history of seizures, since a head injury at the age of 12. They are infrequent and usually come about in high stress situations or from a lack of sleep. A few days ago I suffered a couple of grand mal seizures. My doctors seem to believe that my blood pressure may have been a contributing factor. One of my 2 blood pressure meds had been cut in half, but it seems as if that was not enough. My pressure was too low, and I am also showing a very low potassium. I will have blood work done again in a couple of days to recheck all my levels. Has anyone else had trouble getting your bp regulated after surgery?
