Instead of a banana try a tbls of Peanut Butter...just a thought. I don't want you crabby on us girl. I am telling you I can finally tell a difference @ 2.5. Two wasn't bad for me... Melissa I am being good about posting not about what I am eating...maybe this will change....

So glad to hear things went well. I am sure you scared a little when yours was delayed because of complications from the one before you. YIKKES. Get some rest and you will be back to normal in no time. Melissa - nothing will be done to my port right now. It's just tilted he can still get the fills know that he knows where the port is. If it moves again I will go back under fluro. If it's flips totally over it will be a simply little same day thing of him going in and flipping it back over. Sounds likd you had fun on your trip...but now you need to get some rest also. Happy Friday...Oh my washer and dryer are coming tomorrow!!! I am so excited!!!!! Hope everyone has a great fun filled weekend and relaxing at the same time.

With what Kathy was saying. He will collect your $200.00 and she is right you will have to come back. He only does fills under fluro at the hospital which I think will cost you another 200 or 250 up front. How much are tickets to MX now? You could really get it done cheapier down there. I don't want you to get your heart broken again...you have been through so much. I would maybe call Dr. B's nurse and talk to her about before you go. Your time and money are important to you and Iwould hate for you to have to drive all this way for nothing. But on the other hand...I live in Concord and if you come we could arrange a quick lunch or something...we could probably get a few of the others to meet us. Hang in there girl...we are here to help you anyway we can.
-
Angie... you are in my prayers tonight. If there is anything you need call someone. You should have most of our numbers.

Fill is where the Dr puts saline into your band to make it smaller making your fill up faster when eating and stay full longer. An unfill is just that..the Dr taking some of the saline out because you are too tight. Everyone is so different one person can handle lets a 2.0cc fill while another has a horrible time with it. You know your too tight when you can't get anything down but liquid. Not good..you should be able to eat. For me Dr. V and I talk about whether or not I think I need a fill. He gives me signs to look for and ask what I am eating and how long it's keeping me full. I haven't really had to deal with anything - it's life as normal for me. Well eatting less and eating better. Making better choices and feeling GREAT. I don't "Throw Up" with the band it's more like a PB (productive burp) meaning the food you just tried eat doesn't settle and it comes back up. So you aren't throwing up because it hasn't actually reached your stomach. To prepare - Have alot of protien items in your house...good liquid protien start testing before surgery so you will know what you like. The liquid diet was probably the worest but was very easy to get through. I think I have answered most of your questions...I will be the first to say though that everyone is different and your experience may be completely different then mine. I wish you the best of luck...and read up..there is so much to know aout the band. You have to work with it to make is successfull for you. You can't sit and eat pizza and french fries all the time and expect to loose the weight...don't get me wrong that would be nice.haha Anyway I love my band and I would put up a big fight if someone wanted to take it from me.
-
I don't know that is a tough one....I LOVE TBL...actually have the workout DVD coming to the house. Have been to France and I would love to go back. No help here... I did have a cousin on Extreme Makeover and to ask her the questions she said she would do the show all over again. She even left her baby when he was just 9 months old for 6 weeks. She is MUCH more outgoing now and her whole personality has changed for the better.
