I work in higher ed, I'm a wife and mom. I learned about Bariatric Pal through a friend who had the sleeve surgery a few years ago. I'm 20 years into a journey that has included being on every kind of diet, spending lots of money on gyms and trainers, having poor self-confidence and trying to hide the embarrassment and shame of the extra fat-- and ultimately suffering weight-related illnesses. I plan to have the surgery during summer 2014. Bariatric Pal has been a tremendous source of support and information.
