:tt2:Carol, they told me you were there, I got there about 3:10 app was at 3, but they must of been running late because I sat there anothere, 20 min.PA filled today, thank goodness, She got very aggressive put 2 cc in,now 5 cc in a 10 cc band. I told her I had no restriction I have only been telling them that for the past 2 fills, but after I told her I ate steak, 1/2 baked potatoe, about cup of veggies, and was still hung. she finally realized I HAD NO RESTRITION!!!!!!! So hope this will work, but if in 1 week I still feel I have no restriction I am to call her and she wants to put more in, says everyones abd. is different. and I just need more. I had told here about some of the girls on here that only have couple cc and have been banded alot longer than me, I have only been for 3 months, keeps telling me not to worry. easy for her to say!!! I cancelled, there you go,, I got my fill today,the PA did it, thank Goodness,but anyway she got real aggressive, I told her I had steak Sunday with 1/2 backed potatoe, and she said, "Oh no you cant be eating that way", plus I haven't lost for 4 weeks, she put 2 cc in now have 5 cc in a 10 cc band. but went on to say, if in a week I can not tell any difference, to call right away and she will get me in to add somemore...I have been telling them the last 2 fills I had NO restriction... sure hope this helps Becky. Port is on my left side right above my waist line. Had my 3rd fill today, They say we all different, I have had no restriction at all so today she got very aggressive, now I have 5 cc in a 10 cc band, But in a week if I still feel like there is no restriction to call and go back and get another. getting very discouraged, lost about total of 20 thats pre,and post op. ready to get this show on the road... Michelle, Hey sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, not enough hours in the day sometimes.....My next fill is April 10th at 2:30,hope the PA is there. are you doing well, I have slowed down and I get really discouraged when I don't see the scale go down, Dr. Sid told me to not weigh myself all the time, just notice how I feel and the way my cloths feel. but thats hard to do.. I was banded Jan.25,2008, in Clinton, John Warner Hospital, can't say enough good about the staff at the hospital and Dr. Sids office. I live between Tremont and Danvers. Money played a big part in the reason I sent to Dr. Sid as well as a few other things. My app was 3:15 but didn't go in till almosr 3:30,Had a green uniform on I had come right from work, my husband was with me,I have gray, real gray hair,My next app is April 10th, 2:30 Did you get a fill, I did Dr did it, the PA did it before I must say she isn't as rough, he really hurt me, she didn't.Now I have a total of 3 cc.

Had my 2nd fill this afternoon. Went okay, Dr sid did it today, my first was done by the PA, she does a more gentle job, you know how men are, get it done and over, move on to the next, now I have about 3.5 cc. hope this makes some difference. go back on April 10th. went today Monday March17th for my 2 fill, have a total of 3.5 cc. Hope this does something, the first one did nothing, I just watched my intake, think I could of eaten a 7 course meal without thinking about it twice, butttttt, I didn't.I really don't feel any different tonight, but maybe tomorrow I will be able to feel some restriction. I hope. I go back for 3 rd April 10th, Dr Sidney,in Clinton. Our Journey is long,but worth every step...Becky

I was banded Jan 25th, first fill Feb 13th , felt no restriction, have another one Feb 17th hope this will really give me just what I need. I to get Hungury, but try my best to hold off. I just want the fill to help alittle, I know this is a tool, but so fare it hasn't made a difference,looking forward to next Monday..Becky

to anyone that is wanting to join our little get together, it will be April 1st at the Dennys in Normal, All I can tell you how to get there is go straight by the College,keep going out that main road you can't miss it.on the left side.There are a couple of us that will be wearing bright yellow sweatshirts, if you have one wear it, it will represent a new beginning, our journey full of sunshine and laughter.....Hope to see you all there, we then can decide on what is a good time and day but will at least have this group up and going. Carol, think I'll just say April 1, about 6:30, then we can go from there if thats not a good time for us or the majority, we can change it, at least we will be off and running. Morning all you wonderful, children of God, I got my first fill yesterday, and they couldn't get in what they wanted to, she had wanted to go for 3-3.5 and was only able to get in 2, started burping and water coming up in the back of throat, but now today I can't even tell a difference.the PA told me there is still a small hematoma down under the skin, they don't want to draw it out hopeing it will obsorb on its own, me tooooooo. working on getting a group of us to meet at Dennys in Normal, possible first Tuesday of the month, If we can get 10 people we can have a area saved for us every first Tuesday, other wise we will have sit where ever, and Of course eat something, which shouldn't be to difficult for us, would love to get your feed back, I live inbetween Peoria and Bloomington, don't want to drive to Clinton, so thought Bloomington might be good for a few of us, so let us who are in or close to bloomington go to Dennys.would like to start may in April.
