    Broke up with boyfriend

Well this sure as hell stinks and will make things harder. But things happen for a reason and you should be glad that guy is gone if he wasn't prepared to support you. This is going to be one hell of a challenge for you and when you come out the other side you will be much stronger, much happier with the new you, and will have made new relationships with good people who will support you.
  2. That is a good plan. I wish I had that for my first 2 week phase.

First day at the gym and I passed out!

I have an appointment on Wed. But I think I have it nailed. I more than doubled my liquid intake. No more cramps in my calves every morning. No more dizziness when I stand up. I feel great. I just hope the PCP agrees. Again thank you all for the help.

First day at the gym and I passed out!

I haven't tired the quest bars yet. I hear great thing about them though. I have a ton of different kinds of bars ready to go. I just didn't think I should eat them yet. I was told the sugar was too high and they taste too much like a candy bar. But I would prefer not to pass out again. My wife also suggested taking glucose tablets with me. Bottom line is I need to talk to my Doc. I sure do have a lot options from this thread. I feel far better prepared for the next time.

    Liquid medicine

Can you crush your meds with a mortar and pestle? It's gross but might work for you.

    Scared to eat!

Are you sure you are able to eat pork at this stage? I would kill for some ham but I was told to wait 3 to 4 months.
  7. I had the same sample and OMG I agree. But I assume drinking it everyday might get old.

First day at the gym and I passed out!

I will book an appointment this week with my DR. Something has to be wrong. Might be a blood pressure issue on top of something else.

First day at the gym and I passed out!

This makes a ton of sense. My only concern being all cardio doesn't address loose skin. How are you doing with the loose skin? I really don't want plastic surgery. Hence the passing out on day one.

First day at the gym and I passed out!

I think eating before might be the trick. I only had a decaf coffee with half a cup of milk and 15 grams of isopure protein. And that was about 2 hours before the workout. I need to eat some carbs and more protein.
  11. I take prilosec. No clue if it helps but I am scared to stop taking it.
  12. I am 8 weeks out and I have not hit my Water goal once. Today I joined a gym and did cardio for 45 minutes. I was thirsty after and downed 8 oz of water in 6 seconds. I figured I was in for a lot of pain but nothing happened. I know this is stupid, but I was so impressed I downed another 8oz 5 minutes later. No issues... I am hopeful can finally hit my goal tonight.
  13. When you put it that way... My Sleeve is an a$$hole.

    ITCHY

This is 100% right. Its the adhesive. Once it comes off things will get better, but it took a good 2 weeks for the skin soreness to subside for me.
  15. April 25th. Starting weight was 290lbs. Pre-op 268lbs. Yesterday I was 232lbs. So my total loss had been 58lbs.
  16. Sounds like your surgeon did a great job and you are having minimal complications. It doesn't always go this well. I am 8 weeks out and it still takes me 30 to 45 minutes to down a Protein Shake.
  17. How is the gas? You almost rid of it? How close are you to hitting your protein and water goals?
  18. I had this shot as well.

    Myfitnesspal and fitbit users

I added you to both. I was sleeved on April 25th.
  20. I understand you concern. Know that no matter how long the stall, it is a certainty that you will continue to lose weight. It does seem unusual that you're stall has lasted this long. There are some very good explanations on how a stall can be related to water retention. Google is your friend. Protein/walking/nutritionist blah blah blah. I would suggest you only weigh yourself one per week though. You may drive yourself crazy if you are checking everyday. You should be able to eat soft foods now. Take a look at what you can eat (check with your nutritionist or doctor). This could help with weight loss. http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html#.U5cUk8rn-Io You might want to have a blood panel done to see if there are any irregularities. One more thing to check is your measurements. Perhaps you aren't losing weight but you may be losing inches.

    Great Protein Drink!

They are just called "New Whey" and you can get them from most super markets. I would also caution you to stay away from these. The are super bitter. I had to throw them away. They also do not have what you need for protein (see page 1 of this thread). That being said, the may be good for stimulating elasticity if your skin, and the collagen may help reduce loose skin as you loose weight.
  22. Hope are you feeling now? I hope you can go home tomorrow. The gas is horrible,... Just let it go.

    Anyone from the 805

    Not from 805, but I am 661.

    Is it just me?

I have not had hunger issues, and I am almost 6 weeks out. I will say I have a hard time driving past fast food restaurants with thier damn effective marketing pictures. But 5 seconds later I am fine. One thing that is really helping is weekly visits with a therapist. I better understand the reasons for my over eating and what I can do about it. Sometimes surgeons have a tough time relating to the mindset we have pre and post opt. Their talents are quite different. My suggestions is to get a better understanding of why you are hungry. Perhaps it's all head hunger.

    Does this sound good?

Try only to weigh in weekly. Urban helps with the up/down/back/forth
