I was sleeved on 4/30 and I didn't get a leak check either. So far so good. If I had known about it, I would have wanted one also. I haven't had any complications so far. -

Just remember that you just had surgery. You had a bowel cleansing before surgery and you were on a clear liquid before surgery. You have not consumed much to help you make a bowel movement. Remember nothing in nothing out and to make matters worse being put to sleep for surgery also slows your gut. It all works it's self out though especially with water intake and walking. -

Congrats everyone.!!!!! You guys rock!!!!!! You each are doing so well . I was sleeved on 4/30/14 and I already am 30 lbs lighter and feeling great. You won't regret the positive step you have made for your health. I am no longer on my CPAP machine and my blood pressure medication has been cut in half. Glory to God!!!!! Good Luck everyone and welcome to the other side. . -

I felt the same way when I got home. It does get better but foods and smells that never bothered me before now make me nauseated. Get well soon.

Hello my name is Nita. I am having surgery tomorrow and I am losing my mind. I have no family support. Everyone in my family thinks I have lost my mind because I choose to take control of my life. I just need encouragement. I'm a little defeated :-(

OMG----- that is the size clothes I am in now. I wore my size 20 pants tonight and they were falling off. My 15 yo was like mom your pants are way to big. I never even paid attention because I am only one week out. Thank you so much for this. I am really not realizing the huge change that us coming. It still doesn't seem real. When did you start back working out??

Hey everyone just checking in. I'm doing pretty good. I just felt up to resuming my daily 2 mile walks. That walk whipped my butt. I am determined to make this lifestyle change work. I just realized that I don't own a scale. I never wanted to keep up with my weight before. Can anyone give me advice on the best scale to buy?? I pray that everyone is doing well.

I am doing ok. The pain is much better. This head hunger is driving me crazy. I was always a snacker so I am battling that. I had an allergic reaction to the medication that was used to help the steri-strips stick. I have huge whelps and rashes around my incision sites and they itch like crazy. Other than the rash I am doing better. I pray that you are healing well. God Bless you. -
