I think you will,be fine. You probably ate too fast or too much. I did that once-- never again. If it continues , speak with your doctor.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I have been making shredded chicken with low fat ricotta and spaghetti sauce and it's my favorite. Tuna salad too! I also like fat free refried beans with non fat sour cream and shredded low fat cheddar and I add spicy taco sauce for a kick. Can only eat 1/2 cup of these favorites, but they sure taste great!!

I used cream of mushroom or cream of chicken and put it through the blender. It worked out great for me -

Yes. I am three weeks out and have lost 20 lbs and 18 inches! I measure my neck, bust, waist, hips, thigh, and upper arm.

You can ask him about having jello, sugar free ice pops and smooth cream soups. Plus the water, decaf unsweetened ice tea, broths, and crystal light type beverages. If he says yes you can have some variety. Good luck. -

You can go to any support group that you want to. There are three meetings within 45 minutes of my home. Call your doctors office to get a list of groups in your area. Why will you have two weeks with NO liquids?? You should be drinking 64 oz of water and getting 60 grams of protein. Please check with your doctor. -

I have an appt with the NUT on June 10 but I work in New Paltz so I can't make the support meetings in Westchester. I attend meetings at Vasser Hospital once a month. -

Dr. Kaul did my surgery and I love him and his team. They are all wonderful. I live in Dutchess County but it was worth traveling to Westchester Medical. This surgery and recovery was a lot easier than I thought it would be. -
Are you getting your fluids in? What about your protein? Sometimes cottage cheese fills me up and lasts longer than the protein shakes. One day at a time!

Yes. I am an open book. My boss and coworkers have been great. I was not in much pain at all. They drug you up pretty good the first 24 hours and I took some pain meds at home the first four days just to be very comfortable. Who is doing your surgery? Good luck and keep us posted. -

I am feeling great. I returned to work today and am a little tired but not any more than usual. Doctor took two of meds away and my blood pressure was 107/71! I am now on stage two diet and enjoying my new life. Got a lot of complements at work today and my boss had a beautiful bouquet of flowers on my desk when I arrived this morning. It's so nice to be appreciated. -
Sslade, call your NUT to talk about tweeking your diet.

Thanks cherbear. I will try to do something else. Our five kids are all grown and out in there own, two with families of their own. I was thinking about contacting my NUT and ask her to go over the food journal. Someone today thought I was not getting enough calories during the day so I should eat bigger breakfasts or lunches to help.
