Hello!!! My name is Rachelle and I a married mother of 2 little girls. I am in college earning an AAS in Nursing to become an R.N. I found BariatricPal while watching VSG patient stories on Youtube. I had my first appointment with my surgeon on March 28th, 2014 and my surgery is scheduled for June 3rd, 2014. I have tried for many years to lose my excess weight but have been unsuccessful. Even as a child/teenager I was an athlete and still was overweight despite being very active. I have been seriously thinking of WLS for the last 3 years...and made the decision to move forward this year. I hope to meet new friends and support thru BariatricPal. :)
