Hi everyone! I was also sleeved on the 21st. My surgery went well, and my recovery has been pretty smooth. I've had very little pain in my incisions,Gas X strips really helped my gas, and no problems getting in all my fluids. My major issue is my hunger, I am literally having dreams about eating food! Oh my damn, I can't wait to be out of the full liquids stage lol. Bring on pureed Is anyone else starving all day? If not what foods are you consuming that help you feel full???

This is a great idea! I was just sleeved on 4/21, and I can def use the motivation. It's hard to think of the benefits when all I want right now is to eat anything that isn't liquid : ) My Instagram is Shirlydee, feel free to follow me too

I was sleeved the same day as you! I haven't been having issues with my fluids the past couple of days, but when I was having issues I would walk around for about 5 mins before I drank anything, take a Gas X strip, and stand when drinking. I don't know if standing while drinking is proven to help, but it def worked for me lol. Good Luck

Depression right aftter weight loss surgery
ShirlyDee replied to Lisa00's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling depressed I was just sleeved on 4/21/14, and I remember my nurses saying that the anesthesia can have an effect on your mood so maybe it's that? I didn't have that problem; my issue was mostly pain in one main incision, and gas. I swear for every sip I took it felt like I have to burp at least 5 times to take another one, so yes I def had trouble getting in my liquids and Protein too. Now 5 days post op, I'm able to drink Protein shakes, Soups, G2 Gatorade, and Water with no issue. I know you'll get there too; I'll be rooting for you
