I bought a "biggest loser" scale at Target. I have had it a few years but it's awesome. It goes up to 400lbs and maybe even 450.

At Costco it is $25 for 18ct of Premier Protein. Currently they are on sale for $5off. I just bout two cases.

I had my RNY surgery on April 8th and just took a road trip to Florida this past weekend. I packed a small cooler with Premier Protein shakes, water and cheese sticks. I also brought bananas. We only stopped once to go to the restroom. My boyfriend even just ate cheese sticks and bananas with me. I would have my few bites and he would have a whole and then finish mine! It worked well! Also I went to FL for a wedding. My surgeon said it was ok to have small amounts of alcohol to celebrate the toasts etc. Everyone around me drank. I had small sips of drinks but really I had no desire to drink much. Because I can get such small amounts of liquid in I was more thirsty for water in the Florida heat than anything else. Have a great trip and try not to think too much about it.

What was the point?

I am also in the same boat. Three weeks out tomorrow and have not lost even a pound in the past week. I did lose 33lbs in the first two weeks which I know is a lot. I just fear not losing anything for a week. I am eating almost only protein and averaging 500-600 calories max a day. I wonder was that it? Only 33lbs and I am done? The scale has got to move soon. I am getting super discouraged. -
It will get better! Every day! I am 17 days post op and today was my best day yet. Hang in there!!!

17 days post op and at a 5 day stall

I had gastric bypass on April 8th. I gained 12lbs in the hospital, I assume from the IV fluid. Since coming home I have lost 33lbs including the 12 gained. However, I have not lost even an ounce in the past 5days. My scale literally does not move even at different times of the day. I am eating only protein. I am getting in about 500-600 calories a day. Drinking as much water as I can but it's tough to get it down. I am feeling worried and frustrated that I have not lost anything in 5 days. Has anyone else experienced this so soon after surgery?
