Surgery 7/31. Started liquids last Friday. The headaches get better. I had 2 sugar frees no ones this weekend and have been chewing sugar free gum. Both help with the chewing for me. -

Don't give up. You may have do-morbidities you don't realize. I'm 46 years old, 5 feet tall and weigh 215. My BMI is 42. I've been pre-diabetic for 10 years and you may be too with your Native American heritage. You have sleep apnea that counts, sounds like you may suffer from GERD (I'm not a doctor)but going on my personal experience. I was approved the first time. I saw you are going through Cherokee nation. Are you in OK? -
July 31, 2014 is my surgery date. Liquid diet isn't great but things could be much worse.

I got my surgery date!!! 7/31/13. I started my liquid diet today. It's not great but neither is having a hard time breathing walking upstairs or to my car after work. I've got this!!!

I just got my approval today. I'm waiting for a call back from the surgeon's office with a surgery date! I'm very excited and nervous at the same time. Would anyone share what they are drinking on their two week liquid diet?
