Hello everyone,
Im not sure how to do this. My daughter is now 21 years old. She had the Gastric Sleeve on March 5. She is throwing up all of the time. She has not progressed from clear to full because she can barely keep down the clear liquids. when I talk to her she is very lethargic and answers my questions very slowly and sometimes I have to repeat myself. Her surgeon and nurse are being dismissive. My mother is a nurse and knows nothing about this surgery but she told me that health providers will sometimes have the mentality that a person is a hypochondriac if they contact them to often but my daughter just had major surgery. I don't understand. My daughter lives 100 miles away. I'm frightened. I am afraid I am going to lose her. I know this forum is for Gastric Sleeve patients but I really would like all of your help please.
