Oh yeah - I did my first 5K ever this weekend :D IT was an obstacle/mud run to benefit research on cancers that affect women. IT WAS AWESOME! It is something I never would have imagined 100 pounds ago.

So I wasn't able to complete the full 8 week C25K program in time for my first 5K - I only started 6 weeks before the race. So, I'm going to start in week 4 this week and finish in time for my next 5K at the end of September. My weeks will be a mix of jogs/runs, personal training, strength training, Zumba, yoga and I might try pilates too! I'm hoping that by keeping my workouts varied, being diligent about my protein intake, better about my water intake and staying focused, not only will I get under 200 finally but I'll see significant progress through September. #igotthis

My weekends, though awesome, keep throwing me off my weight loss A game. I'm getting a little frustrated with myself. Especially because the next 6 weeks are going to be crazy and each weekend is filled with craziness. I'm trying to hit 100 pounds lost and get under 200 pounds and I keep hovering around the same 2-3 pounds ARGH

My personal trainer just came by to take measurements and percentages - in the last year, on top of losing 96 pounds (so far), I've lost over 25 inches around my whole body and I've dropped 8% in body fat just since May. What a great way to start the day!! Happy Thursday everyone!

Second personal training session today at 630am. It was painful but awesome! and today I'm down 96 pounds from my HW!!
