I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. While I found this post late, you and your family are now in my prayers.

NSV = non scale victory. I had to ask too Welcome to LBT!

Not sure yet about the lipo. If the surgeon reckons I need it and he can do it all in one go, I reckon I'm up for it lol. I'm shooting for sometime between January - March .. although I'm not a bit fussy lol, long as I get it done.

I believe John. I work for a webcam chat site (people have cameras connected to their computer and chat, where other people can see them). In some aspects, its kind of like a dating or personals site, because people from all walks of life join up and alot of them go on to meet their significant others through our site - its even how I met my DH lol. That said, there's alot of couples there too that just get on to meet other couples and sit around on a Friday night without having to spend money on the movies. But back to my original thought .. lol. The BBW's on the site have an absolutely HUGE (no pun intended) following of guys .. and alot of them, really handsome men! These guys just get no enjoyment from the smaller ladies around. They just appreciate the larger form. Everyone is different and we're all going to be attracted to different things... My heart goes out to Jane though. After 23 years of marriage, I can't even begin to imagine what she must be going through.

LBT IS SO ADDICTIVE!!!!! I love you guys!

Ditto! I joined a couple of other forums before I found LBT - just never felt like I could fit in. They were stricter about what could be posted and were really hard to navigate around. After finding this place, I've maybe checked the other boards three times. Such a great vast group of people here -
That's so sweet!! Congratulations on your achievements - and on having such a wonderful family to share them with

I was back to normal, possibly even better than normal, two months out. You'll have a blast Like the others said though, just make sure your incisions are healed up.
-
Good luck Vanessa. Felt like it'd never get here, didn't it? lol Look forward to seeing you on the other side

Congrats, Christina! What a great feeling, aye?!? Enjoy it - you've done great Marimaru, that's exactly what I do lol. Its only official for me if its stayed that way for 3 days or if it's on the doctor's scale, cause my scale is fickle (or maybe its my body? lol) That said, I do the happy dance on the first day and go back to look at my goals for that week/month lol to see if I'm ahead of track (which I never am).

It's Monday morning here, so I better get this over with Weight: 200.6 Under Bust: 36 Waist: 37 Hips: 48 I actually don't think the under bust will change, as I've never been smaller than 36 there - I've been alot bigger though.

Happy Birthday, Paula! Hope its a fantastic one Thanks for the inspiration you offer so many of us.

I beat the 200 pound demons ....on to the demons of the 100's!!! LOL!!!

YaYYY! That's fantastic - can't wait to be standing in your shoes -
It's Monday morning here, so figured I better get this over with lol. Weighed in this morning at 91kgs/200.6lbs. That's down from 93kgs/205lbs last week...YaYY! Unfortunately, Aunt Flo will surely slow me down this week lol.

That question was asked in the information evening that I went to. Basically, the answer boiled down to, with the amount of years they've been doing the band, they haven't seen any deterioration of the actual band, but if you're banded at 20 and live to be 100, there's no guarantee that it'll hold up for that 80 years... That said, I'm happy to get mine replaced if anything goes wrong. I love my band!!

Awww - I wish I had thought to do something like that! I didn't even take a proper before picture lol. Had no excuse either cause I had nothing but time on my hands. That's really cool, coyotegirl Thanks for sharing!

Nana - you sound like my kinda girl LOL. If you have a webcam, have I got a site for you and the hubby LoopyLou, I was extremely ashamed of my sexuality until I moved to Oz. I'm so much more comfortable here - its really helped me to be who I am. And losing some of this excess weight has helped heaps too. Great thread, Delarla. I've loved reading everyone's input Its good that we can all speak our minds without becoming childish about it.

Have u done something lately that u've ALWAYS wanted to do but didn't.....
Parvathi replied to Lioness81970's topic in The Lounge
If it's something you've always wanted to do, I say go for it. Don't grow old saying, "I wish I would have ..." There's a couple of things on my list of what I'll do when I'm smaller. One was to be able to ride rides at a theme park. I've been big as long as I can remember, and while I still am large, my self confidence is alot higher now and I can fit the belts of a roller coaster on lol. So earlier this week, I jumped on a few w/ my daughter. It was great!! When I hit goal (or close to it), I want to take pole dancing classes lol. More for hubby's enjoyment, but also cause its meant to be good for your arms and it sounds like good fun. And hey, it'd be a great party trick LOL. -
Just a question...Anyone Else Experience this?

Oops, I must have read wrong, sorry Back to Jodie's issue - my hubby and I haven't really talked about how this will affect our relationship, because as far as I'm concerned, we love each other for who we are, not what we weigh or how we look. Those are just added bonuses. Before surgery, I had gotten to the point where even though he tells me all the time I'm beautiful and stuff, I was really self conscious and was holding back in alot of ways. Lately I've noticed, I feel much more confident doing certain things (no need to expand on that, I'm sure ya'll know what I mean lol). In my opinion, this can only improve with time... but I guess we shall see. While he has been completely supportive, he's made the odd remark, in jest, that when I get skinny I'll leave him. At least, I believe he's made the remarks in jest. He's the love of my life and there's no way he's getting rid of me that easy lol. -
Congratulations, on both counts!! I can so relate with the candy thing. My mom sent me a care package a couple of months back with 2 huge bags of Minature Reese cups. Back in the day, I could have finished off one bag in a week. Now they just sit at my desk at the office and I might have 2 a week, if that. A little goes a long way

Hi patty, I think if you're under 18, you have to go to Mexico for it. There's a couple of threads on this board if you use the search function, that talk about good surgeons for teenagers and one that had a really interesting article about teens being banded. Good luck with it all -
I would definitely do it again, in a heartbeat!! Being banded is one of the best things I've done in my life, only behind my wonderful daughter and meeting my hubby. They're right though, Magic, you don't look 258. You're a real cutie lol .. and so's your gf

Not only the skinny girls get to be Homecoming Duchess

What a wonderful thing! Congratulations to you both. In highschool, I let my weight hold me back and used it to hide behind. Its fantastic to hear that she's not letting hers get to her. Good on her! -
Hi Daisy, Very sorry to hear about your miscarriage. The perfect restriction for me, seems to last a month to two months, then gradually goes away. I spoke with my doctor about that on my last visit. He said that the pouch gradually changes shape and as that happens, you'll notice less restriction. A top up on fill fixes it. Your issue may be completely different though, considering everything your body has been through. If you feel that your body is ready for it though, it couldn't hurt to add a bit more and see how you go. Good luck

Just got back from Sea World with my daughter. It's the first time I've flown in two years. Normally, the belt won't fasten - this time, there was a good 6-8 inches left on it .. YaYYY. And my arse/hips didn't keep pushing the arm rest up lol, which has always happened in the past. I was able to out walk my lil one at Sea World and she's a real bundle of energy, so that in itself was quite a feat for me. I didn't even keep having to stop and catch my breath. <doing the happy dance even though I'm exhausted from the trip LOL>
