I suffered for years with terrible cramps and then my doctor prescribed me Naproxen 500 mg and let me tell you, it is a lifesaver! I literally could not function and missed many school and work days. Now I pop a pill and I am off. It lasts usually 3-4 hours and then I pop another one. It has been a god send for me! Good luck and I hope you find something!

Ok so I will need a mons lift. I had a really chubby one before and it has lost weight "thank god". But since I plan on getting a tummy tuck I think she deserves a little lift as well :tt2: , I myself am anti-hair down there. Hair drives me nuts! I don't itch at all, but I shave it every day just as I do my legs and armpits.. I don't think it's a little girl thing, because I have some large breasts and at 38 nowhere do I resemble a young girl. It for me is more a cleanliness thing. I feel blecky when it's hairy on my mons, legs or armpits. I have no idea why but I have been shaving down there since I started getting hair as a teenager. lol. I do like porn :tongue2: but I don't think that is why I like to shave since I didn't start watching porn until my early 20's! I know I'm a shameless hussy but the good news is I have been married for 18 years and I am only a shameless hussy with him!

Help me understand why one shouldn't eat solids after a fill?
allielee replied to WorkingMom's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
You do this because you want your lapband to work. The main reason is so that your stomache can slowly get used to being tighter and second the 2 days of liquids and 2 days of mushies really jump start your weight loss! I always lost the bulk of my weight right after a fill. Good luck and I hope this helps. The rules of the band are simple to follow and are there to help "optimize your weight loss!" -
For those who have lost BIG time . . .

Hey there.. I guess I am a fast loser since it hasn't been 8 months and I have lost 107 pounds. I follow these rules very strictly: I have been extremely aggresive with my fills I chew chew chew I eat slowlllyyyyyyyyy I cut my portions in tiny pieces I eat Protein first then a veggie I eat off of a salad plate If I start to feel stuck I stop eating immediately and am done. I always eat under 3 cups total food a day If I need a snack i stick to 100 calorie Snacks Love the m&m I drink as much Water as possible between 32-70 ounces daily I stay away from carbs (I just don't have room and am to tight for cereal or breads) My foods usually are: b: 1/2 6oz yoplait thick and creamy yogurt l: small piece of meat and a little veggie d: small piece of meat and a little veggie s: 100 calorie snack I am never starving. I never have tummy grumbling which makes me not focus on food. I now eat to live not live to eat. I stop when I start to feel full. I don't pb anymore ever! I listen to my body I don't diet, I eat what I want including fats and sweets I just eat a tiny bit because I am full from being at my sweet spot! I am not a big excercizer, I figured if I was losing why excercize lol. I know if I started really excercizing I would have been at goal already.. I hope this helps! -

self-pay plastic surgery anyone???
allielee replied to BellaPerdente's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I am also looking to get a lower body lift and some new girls. I am hoping to find it cheaper than my lapband cost me $18,500. I have two teenage daughters that start college this year uggh.. I don't want to wait 5 years for them to get my plastics done but as their mom I just can't see paying another almost twenty grand when that can go toward college. If I can find it for around 10 grand I think i can swing it! Does anyone know if the lower body lift includes a mons lift? Mum of two boys.. good luck girl! You are gorgeous and you will be batting the men away!!!! congrats! -

Hi, I am almost 8 months out and getting closer and closer to goal. I am starting to look at getting some plastic surgery. I would love a lower body lift and some new "girls". lol. I am a self pay bandster and I assume I will be a self pay plastic surgery patient and was wondering what are the costs? I am willing to travel since I live in CT and my band cost $18,500 I am hoping to go somewhere where it is cheaper but just as safe! I appreciate your help and wanted to do a poll but am not that computer savvy as of yet! LOL.. So please let me know where you are from and how much plastics cost you and what you had done! I appreciate your help!!

allielee replied to IWannaBeSkinny's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had that pain for like 8 weeks.. it's gas pain and really all you can do it walk walk walk.. excericzing is the best way to get it moving.. good luck! -
Kizzie.. how are you??? I keep looking for your posts and nothing, I just was worrying about you and hoped you were doing ok. xoxo
-
Thanks Army.. I love the way that sounds smoking hot with my name next to it!!! LOL who would have thought that 7 months ago??? Hey ladies.. I got my tankini at Target in the juniors section. Yep you heard right in the Juniors section! It is black and white halter top with a black bottom with a tiny skirt attached. It's really cute. I needed the halter to keep my girls up!

Hey there.. I also had this pain and was told the same thing that I had pulled out one of my internal stitches.. but I am over 7 months out now and no pain.. the only thing now is when I am standing my port sticks out due to the weight loss. I was told that it's ok to lose a stitch and after awhile your body naturally heals itself around your port. I wouldn't worry. I hope that helps!

Hey there.. vzg.. your stunning!! Loved the before and after you look really like a different person! Great job!
-
on my way.. That's wonderful that you can care for her so she can be in a home setting!

Good Morning Junies.. Wow it sounds like you got some great deals Long.. guess what... I bought a tankini.. I was so excited. I bought it in the juniors section. I love it! The only thing is my body looks great but my legs are not so great. Mine just have alot of saggy skin gross! I don't have larger legs but definetly problem with skin.. only on my legs and tummy... I have been looking at plastic surgery and I think I am going to go for a lower body lift. I did some shopping with hubby and it was so fun! I bought some really really cute shirts. My hubby says I need to buy hot mom clothes not fat mom clothes so he says he is going shopping with me from now on! LOL.. it was a blast. I got some super cute stuff to! I even got a pair of size 12 jeans! I was strutting my stuff let me tell you. I teach.. it is amazing how similiar our stories are. It really makes me wonder how many other people have endured something like this. I hate to say it really helps knowing that there are others like me who have survived it! Not that I would wish it on anyone. I think I have forgiven my father but forgiving my mother is really a different story. I guess I keep thinking I need her to take responsibility for everything and she keeps saying she did the best she could. I guess I have to come to terms with that. I still will never have a relationship with her. She is like being drowned in molasses. I can't breathe around her. Isn't that awful? She always makes me feel like a little kid and like a really bad little kid. She is not nor has she ever been a loving person. Oh well, Im not even going to get started .. lol.. it's monday and it's a beautiful day.. Our date was wonderful! We had dinner and then just holed up in our hotel room! It was like being newlyweds again.. we did some interesting things we haven't done in sooo long. I love that he can carry me and I can do things I haven't been able to do in a long time! It was amazing! I wish it was Valentines' Day every day!!! LOL.. The hotel was gorgeous! We stayed until check out and then had company for dinner last night. We have always been "in love" and very affectionate with each other but now it's like we are kids again and so excited to see each other. I am sooo happy I got this band. I really think it gave me a new lease on life! I am a better, happier, healthier person and I love every minute of it!!!! We never did make it to the pool, but I modeled my tankini and he loved it.. LOL.. Have a wonderful day you gorgeous Junies!!!!

Anyone notice Post Banders are a bit snobbish?
allielee replied to El Diablo's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Ok I will take one for the home team. I admit it I am a snob under this definition: A workman who accepts lower than the usual wages, or who refuses to strike when his fellows do; a rat; a knobstick. Those who work for lower wages during a strike are called snobs, the men who stand out being "nobs" --De Quincey. I really really need my job :cursing: :frown: -
Hey strike!! Well congrats on the move and sounds like you are going to have lots of fun with your babies!! I love going up stairs now.. I used to absoloutely die.. I couldn't breathe and I would almost pass out.. now I just run right up! LOVE IT!
