50 POUNDS GONE WOOO HOOO Congrats that is so awesome! I hope you have a blast on your mini vaca! I don't worry about the calories at all, I found at the beginning i was to focused on them and needed to stop focusing on food. lately i have been eating between 300-800 calories a day. I feel great so whatever lol. So today I met with Dr. Passaretti out of Darien, CT which is about 2 hours from my house. I LOVED him! I am definetly going with him and I have booked my surgery for December 14!! After meeting with him and discussing the lower body lift versus an advanced tummy tuck with mons lift, he convinced me I didn't need a lower body lift. He said the back of me isn't saggy and I have no rolls of fat at all. For some reason all my rolls are only on the front of me lol. After looking in the mirror with him and him showing me what he would do I had to agree. But he did agree to do some major lipo on my thighs which will give me a much better look on my thighs than a lbl would have. So after much discussion I am getting, breast lift ( I am not getting implants since I am a D now he said I would stay a D I don't want to be bigger) abdominoplasty, mons ift and liposuction on upper stomache and thighs. Grand Total $ 15,400.00 I think that is a great price! The only thing is you don't stay overnight uggh. So I am going to stay at a hotel nearby and have hired one of their nurses to come stay with me. That way I can keep the catheter and IV for 24 hours and I really think that will help me. The cost of the nurse is an extra $950.00 but I think it will be worth it! The other doc wanted to charge me 19 grand so I am still saving and getting more bang for my buck, plus this doctor was so professional and his office was gorgeous! All the nurses were wonderful. I loved him and them! He showed me what I will look like via the computer after and all I can say is HOT DAMN I am going to be smoking hot naked! yeehaw!! :confused: I did get layed off from my job which was a good thing. My last day of work is 7/31 and I am going to take the rest of the year off between selling our house and this surgery I am sure I will be busy!!! :cursing:

I also thought that is all I wanted but with a lower body lift, you get a flat tummy, butt is up and round, mons lift (have to ask), back flattens out and thighs. I have some loose skin on my thighs I am hoping this gets rid of. I figured if I was going to get surgery why not get all I wanted done at one time. I wasn't to concerned about my back or butt but then I saw some before and afters of other lower body lift people and I was like DAMN I want my butt and back to look like that toooo! rofl :thumbup:

Good Morning! I woke up this morning with a sore throat and wanted to call in at work (I have never in the 5 years I have been here called in sick) but of course here I am at work lol. I sometimes wish I could get past the whole work ethic thing. lol. Suzy, that is so amazing being a foster parent. I was in foster care for awhile as a kid and always wanted to do it. My hubby and I had started the process 5 years ago and then this job dropped in my lap and I couldn't turn down the pay. Maybe I will look into it again. There are so many kids out there who need a safe place. We have had alot of my kids friends live with us at different times over the years. Some people just don't know how to parent. So, yesterday something amazing happened to me. I was talking to one of my customers and we started talking about our kids and she began to tell me her story.. her 25 year old daughter was killed right in front of her by her daughters ex boyfriend. She had broken up with him and he was very controlling. He did kill himself too. This poor woman saw her daughter being killed. She kept telling me that if your daughters are with someone controlling do whatever you can do get them out of that situation. I had tears streaming down my face as she was telling me that she can't move from here because she has to go to her daughters grave every morning and talk to her. Her hubby wants to leave CT, and there house where she was killed at. The mother can't leave her daughter. She also said that years ago her first born daughter died at 1-1/2 from a heart condition. I can't even imagine the pain this poor woman has. I went home and hugged my kids close and realized that, what is important in life is your family and the people important to you bottom line. Years from now what's going to matter? The time you spend with your family and friends is the only thing that will matter, what you wear, where you work, how much you weigh none of that is important. Thank you all for all your support over the past year. You are all so special to me and I realize how much I depend on this website to get through some days lol. Sooo excited for you!!!! Not only are you losing super fast you are in a size 8/6 girl you friggin rock! You are doing so amazing! I eat junk too, I can't help myself.. cheetos are the only "carbs" I eat lol. I wish I could join a running club that sounds so fun! As long as you excercize you can have some junk :thumbup: I can hardly wait to see the pics.. now you can see my nakey ones rofl

It's official my last day is July 31! I am actually so excited. I am going to get to spend the whole month of April with my girls before kelsey goes to college. Plus I can get my house ready for the big sale. My hubby say's I can take the year off unless something great drops in my lap since we are moving next year anyhow. So all is good. thanks skinny! I have made another appointment with a different doctor for this friday. Since the other doctor doesn't to lower body lifts and from the research I have done I think that is what I really want instead of a tummy tuck. I will post what the new doc says I figure if I am going to do it I might as well do it right lol :sad:

wow I have no idea what to say to this.. but have you tried keeping a food journal to keep track of your caloric intake? My guess is your caloric intake is to high. The same theory goes with or without the band. You have to be aware of the calories you are consuming. Some foods have way more calories than you could ever imagine. There are websites that can help you figure out caloric amounts. It might be a pain in the butt at the beginning but once you figure out how many calories you are consuming you can cut them down. I eat between 300-800 calories a day. I can not because of being to tight eat more. I am not sure what the magic number is you need to be under to lose weight but know once you figure that out you will lose. The band is a tool to help you feel full so you can eat less calories. I definetly hope you know I am trying to help and not preach.. I wish you more luck than this last year has brought you! Keep us posted as how you are doing!

Hi Everyone! I have been lurking on here and soo excited for all of you! Laura just a couple of days left! You must be sooo excited. I am officially booked to have a tummy tuck and breast lift on December 18, although this friday I have an appointment with a different surgeon who does lower body lifts which I think I want instead. I have posted pics of me in my panties and I almost choked from laughing so hard at your bullfrog analogy.. I definetly feel your pain.. lol. I can hardly wait to wear tiny panties that don't disappear lol. Please keep posting, I love reading all of your stories and love all the tips you guys post! I am 1-1/2 from ny city and 1-1/2 from boston. My hubby was hoping to find something closer.. he worry's about problems. Well today I came back to work from vacation to be told most likely I will be layed off. I am so tired of this bouncing back and forth. The last vacation I went on and came back to work I found out my pay and then my hours were cut. I was so upset, I called my hubby and he said tell him fine just lay you off. I can collect unemployment and we are planning on moving next year anyhow. It just makes me so mad. My boss is trying to keep me but seriously I don't even want to work there anymore. I can't go into alot of details but one of my "co-workers" had something illegal ups'd to our work. I found out afterwards and was so appalled! I make really good money and it has been hard to turn my back on it but I feel like money isn't everything. They all do illegal activities which I don't approve of and refuse to be around them when they are doing stuff. I have wanted to tell someone but have no one to tell without risking my own job. It has sucked. So maybe this being layed off is the best thing. God works in mysterious ways. I will still get my surgery either way. We have been saving and have a little over 10 grand for it right now. Well, I am off to try and relax.. yeah right lol

So I will still be in CT. It is crazy but there are very few doctors around here that do lower body lifts. I am having a hard time finding them. If anyone knows of any let me know! Hey there Long, I am so glad you had a great time camping and no bears this time. As for my weight loss, I can only say that I am really really tight. I can only eat a couple of tablespoons of food 2 times a day and alot of times it's teaspoons. I am planning on getting a slight unfill in August at my next appointment. My hubby worry's I don't eat enough. Lately due I believe to the airplane flight it has been really really tough to eat anything. I know it's not the best way to lose weight but as fast as it is coming off it has been hard to say " hey let's get a little unfill" so needless to say, I don't eat, I have been excercizing alot and I am almost at my OH MY GOD goal. I originally thought hey I would like to lose 100 pounds then it was under 200 then under 190 and so forth. Here I am weighing less than I did at my wedding! Unfortunately, even drinking is tough. But like I said 1 pound from goal. I might have already hit it, I won't weigh until friday so we will see. I am meeting with another plastic surgeon on Friday, since the doctor I am already scheduled with doesn't do lower body lifts I think I really want a lower body lift over a tummy tuck. The lower body lift will take care of tummy, butt, thighs and mons all in one swoop. If I can't find a surgeon to do the lower body lift then I will stick with my original doc and go ahead with the tummy tuck, lipo and breast lift. Keep your fingers crossed for me Back to work tomorrow uggh.. what a great vacation I had and wish I could never go back to work lol. :huh2:

I did enjoy nascar live! It was really fun.. they crashed right in front of us and my hubby's favorite Tony Stewart won. It helped we were doing Jello shots lol. We had such a great time! Hello everyone! Well we had a great trip to Disney and the best part is I am only 1 pound away from my goal of 160! I can't believe I lost weight while on vacation!
