Wow. My doc says no to anything carbonated even if it sits. He said that it can stretch your pouch, which is something I never want to happen.

Hey VZ! Awesome job girl! I have lost over half my weight! It is crazy to think that just such a short time ago I was over twice the size I am now. BAHH. I am constantly thinking how lucky I am that I got the lapband when I did. I feel like an entirely new person, actually I feel like a sexy woman to be more specific. I was a happy overweight person but now I am really living life. I am all booked for my plastic surgery and actually paid for it! No turning back now. After talking with the doc I am getting the following done: breast lift with implants (under the muscle, silicone size : double D ) advanced tummy tuck - body contouring lipo and lipo of the thighs. In february I am getting a thigh lift to complete the transformation. I am so excited I can't stand it. I am a little worried that on Nov 23 and Nov 24 I won't have anyone here with me. Hubby started a new job and could only get the 19th and 20th off. I am trying to recruit friends to come babysit me lol. I hope everyone is well! tomorrow is my preop plastic surgery appt and I am so very excited. I am booked for a tummy tuck, breast lift with implants and thigh lipo on Nov. 19. I am getting a thigh lift a couple months later. :crying: Everyone keeps freaking about the money but really??? People pay so much for their vehicles and don't even blink an eye. I am worth more than any car could ever be and these surgery's will last longer than any car. I paid 18 grand for my lapband so why wouldn't I go the whole way? Why not I say you only live once! So I am diving in. I love the way my body looks now in clothes, the surgery will just make me love my body without clothes. I would still choose extra skin over fat any day and I was one of those people who spouted how I would rather be fat than have extra skin.. really??? That is just a bunch of bull! I was so miserable fat. I am so happy saggy skin and all. No one knows I have extra skin when I am dressed but everyone knew I was fat. So seriously don't worry about extra skin if that is what is holding you back from getting lapband, you are just looking for an excuse, which is what I did until I ended up almost having a heart attack from being so obese. Getting the lapband has been the best thing I have ever done for myself. Being thin has been worth all the money and hard work. The band is a tool not a cure. Big difference! Ok enough of my spouting. I am just sooo pro band! Wish me luck everyone!

Hey I never saw this post! Sorry it took me so long. No i never heard from them but I had fills scheduled every 2 weeks so I saw them often enough. I got my fills at the waterford, ct office, which they come up to twice a month. It looks like you are doing awesome, congrats. I actually go tomorrow for my preop plastic surgery appointment! I am getting a tummy tuck, breast lift with implants and lipo on the thighs done on nov 19. 2 months later I am getting a thigh lift. So excited. Anyway's congrats on the great work. xoxo:thumbup:

Hey there! How are you doing with the knee? I hate being layed up. It sucks. Especially knowing next month I will be miserable lol. I am still on the losing streak. My hubby is all over me about not losing anymore. This is the smallest I have been since high school maybe even middle school lol. I LOVE IT. :cryin: I have to stop buying clothes till after surgery.. I just love shopping now! I bought two pairs of jeans.. drum roll please size 6! They are tight now so should fit good after ps. :wink2:

hey Apples! I am hoping to have the tt and thighs done but have to ask dr if he can do both at same time. I figure if I am going to be in pain those are supposed to be the worst, why not do them together. My boobs are good but I want them to be great :thumbup: If you look at my pics and are a friend of mine you can see pics taken a couple months ago. I am a 36 DD and if I wear a bra they are fabulous I am only 39 so I figure if I can get them to look great why not. I plan on getting everything done since I worked so hard to lose all the weight. My hubby at first was against it but when I told him it was important to me for me, he said I could get whatever I wanted done. :cursing: I love the way I look in my clothes now and want to love the way i look naked. So within 6 months I will have tt, thighs and boobs done. :ohmy: Wow how the world do you eat 3000 calories a day! I struggle to eat 1200. I couldn't possible eat 3x that! I will post before and after pics as soon as possible! xoxo

Hi! I am getting closer and closer to my surgery date which it is November 19! I have my preop on October 28. I keep going back and forth on what to get done first. I am getting thighs, tummy tuck, breast lift with augmentation done but doc wont do all at once. I am booked for the tummy tuck and breast lift with aug but I am thinking I might want to do the thigh lift and tummy tuck first. I am not sure if I can get them done together or not and will ask at my preop appt. I am still losing and I have been working out like crazy trying to be in the best shape I can for my surgery. I will update again after my appt , I am heading to florida on oct 13 for a week of fun in the sun. :thumbup:

great2bthin, good luck with your knee surgery! I am sure you will be up and running around in no time! I am getting sooo excited about my plastic surgery next month! I keep going back on forth on what to get done. I have my pre op appt on oct 28 and I am hoping I can get my tummy tuck and thighs done. I am scheduled to get tummy tuck and breast lift with augmentation but really would like the tummy tuck and thighs done first. My breast are not bad and with a bikini top or bra they look good. My thighs have gotten worse over the last couple of months. I have lost so much weight in them that if I turn my leg to the side I have a bunch of extra skin (bleck). I am not sure if they can do those two together so we will see. If they wont hubby said I can get thighs done in 3 months after my surgery in nov. I love that man lol. I have been going to the gym twice a day really trying to be in the best shape possible for my ps. I am down to 154! For a total of 151 pounds lost! I have almost lost half my weight!!!! I haven't been trying to lose weight but it just keeps coming off. I feel awesome and am really happy with the way I look. The surgery will just be the icing on the cake! Hi Everyone! Wow it feels like it has been forever. I have been super busy, my oldest daughter went off to college and within 3 days I had to pick her up and she was admitted into the hospital. She had a severe throat infection that wasn't responding to antiobiotics.. very scary but after a couple of days of iv antibiotics she got better. She is back at college and doing well. I flew to W.V. to see my best friend last week and had such a good time! We went camping just her and I eventhough we got invaded after the third day by her hubby. I have been doing great, really don't even think about being banded anymore. I am living the life as a thin person. I went and saw my doc last week and he is putting together an "offer" for me to work for him! Pretty exciting stuff. He also called my ps and asked if he could sit in on it. I am so excited about getting the ps I can't stand it. I ended up deciding to get the implants after all. I hope everyone is doing well and I miss hearing from all of you. xoxoxo

Hey there Great/Long, I am doing so much better since I posted last. It's so funny how when I was heavy I could chat with men and it was no problem, they saw me as a "friend" now men see me as a prospective lay.. bahh I am the same person it is "their" perspective that is different. I found that I had to put a new wall up, this one not fat but attitude.. lol. My hubby and I are always so affectionate towards each other and have always been that way. I still get approached, men are pigs lol.. actually my hubby and I were sitting at a table having a drink and this girl approached us and said "are you two together"? I immediately got pissed thinking she was after my man and I said yes we are very happily married and she said.. oops sorry, my "guy" friend over at the bar and then she pointed to him and he waved at me thinks you are super hot. I almost died..lol. My hubby scooched over and put his arm around me lol. It has been an adjustment that is for sure. I love shopping for new clothes and my hubby loves going with me.. I don't wear low cut stuff but I do like to dress up. So now I am learning the attitude.. My counselor says I am going through normal things with all the changes I have had in my life. I am still losing, trying not to but I am fluctuating between 157-160. depending on the day lol. I took my daughter to college last weekend and on wed I got a call she was super sick so I picked her up she ended up being admitted to the hospital with an abcess on her tonsil and was in the hospital for 5 days. She is better now but it was scary, she just couldn't beat the infection for awhile. We had a showing of the house today so I have been super busy. I hope everyone is doing well and I think of all of you all the time! xoxoxo

woo hoo!! awesome!! I got an unfill and gained a couple pounds so drove an hour and a half to get it put back in lol.. so i lost the couple pounds in a couple of days. Things have been crazy here, our oldest started college and I have been struggling alot with it. I have been getting alot of attention from men and it's freaking me out.. I have started staying home or not going out with out the hubby.. it's just a safer plan lol. I am sorry I have not been on here alot it's just I have been really really busy. but I do get emails when you update and i read them so keep posting!! xoxox

Hi all.. Huggie bear, I too have been struggling. I am a text book case of a mid life crisis. I lost my job, daughter went off to college, hubby now works 70 hours a week, finding myself with alot of time on my hands and I am below goal. I realized that being heavy protected me from unwanted attention. I have been going out with the hubby but still get approached and I have struggled so much here lately.. I haven't crossed any lines but damn if I am not tempted. I am majorly in love with my hubby and have expressed to him my concerns.. I am going to go see a counselor.. I bumped up my plastic surgery to November 19th. I have lost a little more and am really trying to stop!! I have been working out and it's hard to not lose it's so funny to say that... well, huggie you are not alone.
