Hello I am having surgery next weds and am very nervous but excited!! I can't seem to find anyone in the uk that having it done too (there must be someone) I would love to hear from you ????x

Morning lucky knickers, my friend is the same has lost 13 stone and has about 2 and half to go all she can see is the 2.5 to go not how well she's done. She still sees herself as fat!! Well that bloke had what was coming! As I said I had a small jacket and prawns and that was it. I never would have eaten right through. I have read a lot off people suffer with chicken I hope I am not one as that is one of the only meat I eat. It will come round quicker than u realise xx

Omg eleven stone that's amazing!! How she finding eating and stuff now. I am sure u won't get turned away. Why was the bloke turned away? it will be the best thing u ever done. Such an exciting time ahead! Xx

At least on the liquid diet ur not eating anything. Where if u were eating low carb diet and think it's easier to cheat and have something naughty. One day I was feeling rough and I had a small jacket potato with prawns and I was fine surgery still went ahead. Just made sure I was extra strict remaining time. Must be extra hard feeling Ill on top of it. X

How long u been doing it for? Are u feeling rough? The feeling passes and yes I did two wk pre diet x

Hi green eyes girl. I can't believe how quickly ur on solids I have to be on liquid for 4 weeks and then purée for another 2 weeks! Spent two nights in hospital hoping to go home in the morning. I am ok just got slight pain in the stomach left side. X

Hi all I was last on the list yday :/ so didn't wake up and come back to ward till 840. I am ok just in slight discomfort in the stomach. I can't bare the liquid pain relief they give u to mix with water. Can't believe how well it went. Shall be leaving here tomo morning as long as my bloods come back ok? Just on clear fluids atm. Dr richardsons was my surgern. X

I can't belive ur having it done in Portsmouth only up the road from where I live. What a small world. Yep today's the day I am at the hospital now bored out my mind! Be careful with the gum it made me more hungry. X

Hi luckyknickers57, Thanks for ur message. Where are you from? I am having it done at the spire park. I felt ok about till it got closer and closer and now here I am morning of surgery. Being picked up in about twenty mins ???? x

Yes I thought about making some soup before the op. Was there any that didn't go down well? I have been trying for a baby for about 4 years and my doctor recommended the surgery to me as said hopefully the weight loss will help. Also pissed off being like a whale. X

How long did your surgeon put you in the liquid diet for before moving to purée? I have to do it for 4 weeks then move next stage. Am pleased you would do it again. How old are you? I am 26 x

Not too long will be here before u know it! That is really good weight loss in just a few days imagine what ur be at on surgery day!

I haven't spoke to anyone so you don't know how nice it is to be able spk to u about it. How u finding the purée stage?

I am just bit worried about the pain after surgery. Did u take anything in with you as I have seen some people recommend something for trap wind. I can't tell you how nice it is too speak to somebody here who has had it done. It's ok speaking to family but when they haven't had can't answer question or anything. Do you add protein powder to any off your food to build up protein?

Mine is on April 30th not long now 7 pound in 2 days is really good u must be pleased with that. Where about are u from ?

U done amazing losing 2.5 stone on lover diet well Done! Yes I have heard getting the liquids in is the hardest. Where do u live? I am down south. I am having it with the hospital group I'll fine the surgeons name on paper work later let u know. What about u?

Hi thanks for your reply. I found the pre op liquid diet very hard to begin with. But I seem to be doing ok now. How was ur op? Hope everything went well. How are you feeling?
