    June 2014 Sleevers Check In!

Hello All, I was sleeved June 13th in Mexico. For the past couple of days I've had a really fast heart rate. I went to the doctor and it was tachycardia. I've had issues with my heart before surgery but it was never this fast. I know this is one sign of a leak but pray to a God it isn't. I haven't been able to get more than 10g of protein lately due to not being able to stomach it. So far I've only been drinking water but not very much. I'm awfully thirsty and hope my tachycardia is to due my dehydration or electrolytes. Others than that I feel absolutely great!!! What are your thoughts ? #PrayersPlease

    Passport Problems...Maybe

Hi Candy, I cant say if you will have your passport in enough time but I can tell you that I just came from Mexico (Juarez) on July 15th and me nor my sister had passports. My patient facilitator advised me that a passport was ideal but having your birth certificate and ID would be acceptable which it was. The boarder patrol agent looked over my birth certificate and asked me where I was from and nothing more. The two people who had passports in the taxi ironically where questioned more. My sister on the hand only had her driver's license and a bill from the government. The boarder patrol agent did ask her for further identifation which she provided by showing him her insurance card ah he requested. Sorry for the long post, I just dont want you to worry too much because there are other ways around it.

    June Sleevers

Thank you soooo much to everyone that replied. I will definitely be in Juarez June 12th to have surgery June 13th with Dr. Rodriguez. Thank you Lilly for easing my nerves regarding surgery Dr. Rodriguez, I haven't seen any post on here about him lately. Anyway, June 13th is my day guys, I will definitely keep everyone updated. Please also feel free to give any packing advice for the trip that you may have. What items do you feel would be a must have for the trip. Thanks, Cherie
  5. Hello All, I will be having surgery June 13th in Juarez through BeLiteWeight. I am very nervous as I have never had a major surgery in my adult life. Minus the fact my primary care doctor is not supportive of my idea, I recently found out I was anemic. I am trying to get my hemoglobin level up before surgery its at 11 and normal would be 12. I live in Charlotte, NC and would love to have a buddy if possible. My surgeon is Dr. Rodriguez. What are your thoughts regarding surgery and experience with my selected surgeon?
