Wow awesome! I just started April 11th was my surgery day. I'm down 30pounds. I still have a long way to go. I think I need a fill cause I'm not staying hungry as long as i should be. It was great till a few days ago. Then I just couldn't stay full.

How are you doing with your weight loss?

I also was a very active child! I was out on every diet under the sun and still I was the chubby kid. I know your pain! I was 27 when they finally figured out I had pcos.. They think I had it at a young age as well and just didn't test/know about it. I have one child and they told me he was my mirical baby. I gained a bunch of weight and couldn't get it off! So I got lapband on April 11, 2014 and I lost 27 pounds in 28 days! My hubby takes my scale away and I can only weigh myself every 2weeks so in a few days I'll be able to see how much more I have lost! No fills yet! Good luck!!

How long do u set your timer and is that how long u wait between each bit?

I'm 2weeks post-op and have lost 23pounds!! It would be great to have someone to talk to or buddy for support! They don't have a support group here anymore! ???? Thanks!!

I would sure try! I have a 2year old! But I would try to come there! I wish they still had one here cause this is where the doctors are and I bet the hospital would allow it to be there somewhere. But I guess nobody was showing up. Oh well!

Hello everyone!! I was banded April 11, 2014! I'm almost to my 3rd week! (Into solids!!) I have lost 25pounds and feeling great!! I was weighing myself everyday and when I went in to get my stapels removed my doctor scolded me for it ????.. So my hubby took away the scale! So I can only weigh myself every two weeks now. Haha! I joined because I new I would need support from other banders.. We no longer have a support group here.. Bummer!! I'm also wondering how much I should be eating? I've seen a lot of people say 2eggs with a banana and meat and cheese on the eggs for breakfast!! I don't come near eating that much! I eat one poached egg or a 1/4-1/3 of a banana with 2oz of fat free cottage cheese. But I've noticed I'm not always full. But I read somewhere to only eat 4oz of food! I go to see my nutrionist may 5th..

I got up today and had coffee then went our and did some running. I put liquid protein and water in a bottle and just have been drinking it. I didn't feel hungry so I haven't ate. So I went out to my yard and was working in the yard and got really hot so I came inside. Now I feel really sick! I are a couple crackers to see if that would help but it hasn't yet!! I'm scared I'm going to throw up!

Think it was from not eating all day! I'm feeling better.. Need to remeber to eat!! ????

Bad stomach ace, shakey, cold, I felt like throwing up but don't as much now. Dizzy also ????

My doc said to eat till I'm full.. I need to look at my paper work again!

I was banded April 11, 2014! I also think it was a great choice for me! It's hard at times and I ask myself once in awhile why I did it!! I always tell myself I need to do this! I'm worth it and I will be healthy! It will all be worth it!! I've lost 25pounds already and can't wait to keep peeling it off! Good luck!

2weeks post op as well! But I'm here for support! I know I will need it too! Our support group in my town no longer is around! ????
