Yea I finally got it done under x-Ray yesterday. Took him a few try's still. Not fun but hopefully I won't have to have to many more!

Hello! I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I had a port revision a little over a month ago. I went in to get a fill and my doctor poked and prodded and couldn't find it. ???? It hurt really bad! I've had problems with him finding it from day one! Well when he did the port revision he removed a little fat to get to it easier. Well like I said above he couldn't find it. So I have to go back the 2nd to do it under x-Ray. I hope nothing happened in there! Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello! At my highest weight I was 317lbs.!! The day of my surgery I was 307 (April 11 2014) As of today I am down to 263lbs. I have had problems with my port flipping and just last week my doc went to give me a fill and poked and prodded me and could not find my port! So I go in the 2nd to do it under x-Ray. It's been hard not getting the fills I need but I think I'm doing good for not being filled the way I need to be! I can sure tell cause I'm selling all my bigger clothes! It's so exciting to not only see the results but have others see too! Good luck on your journey! It's a hard but great one!

Oh wow! Ouch! He poked me like 4 times and moved it around trying to find it. ???????? my tummy is very bruised and hurts!

You drink when you eat? My doctor said no drinking 30min before or after I eat! It hurts to eat and drink for me. I had my surgery April 11th 2014. I had my port flip and just last month had it flipped back. It's very hard to tell on fills. I think I need another one as well! Congrats on your weight loss! I always tell myself everyone is different you lose weight different then everyone else. I'm down 40lbs sense my surgery and like you I'm very proud of it! Don't worry your doing great!

Hello! I would just like to hear some success story's. I've been struggling lately with my port flipping and all. (Just got it flipped back yesterday) was anyone banded in April and how are you doing?!!

How is everyone doing?? I'm doing great after my port revision! I think I'm going to need another fill soon. I'm starting to eat more then I was a week after surgery. I know the liquid seddles and you have to find the green zone. I'm hoping it's coming soon!

Yes. We tried and it wasn't working so he said we need a x-ray and found out it was flipped.

After my port was fixed I was really sore! But I'm very excited I have restriction and I'm down 37lbs now! So I'm back on track!

Wow! You guys are doing great! I'm still down 33lbs. I wondered why I wasn't losing and couldn't believe my fills didn't help! Well now I know I didn't have any fills! I have 4cc in my band now and I can tell! So I'm hoping to start losing weight again!! It nice to see others enjoying there band! I love mine (even though the port flipped) I'm still doing good and I'm excited to get back to the gym and on track with my new life!

I had surgery on Monday and had it flipped back over. I can't believe she didn't do a X-Ray to check it? Mine was very sore as well I new something was wrong! I had a x-ray and you could see my port was flipped. They went back through my old scare and just flipped it back. I'm still sore but I'm doing good! I only had 2cc's in my band so every time I went in to get a fill it didn't work. I only had one fill. He put 2 more (so 4cc's) and I can really tell the diffrence!

I was banded 4/11/14 I was doing great! Lost about 33lbs. But I started to eat more then I thought I should so I went in for a fill. Got my first fill did good then needed more. This happend 2 more times.. He was having a hard time getting to my port. Well come to find out my port had flipped. :,-( I was very upset. But I got my port flipped back yesterday. I was and still am in pain. Very sore from it! He also filled me to 4cc's cause I only had 2cc's in the band.. He also removed some fat so he could get to the port easier. My tummy is very bruised and I'm still sore but I know it's totally worth it! I just can't wait to get back to the gym and back to normal so I can start to lose weight again!! Anyone else have a port flip? How are u doing now that your better/back on track?

It's better then yesterday but I couldn't believe it was as sore as it was/is! I wonder if it's from them being rough or the fat he took out that made it so sore! How is everything going now? Are you at your green zone yet?

Thanks everyone!! It's been a crazy journey! I went it for a fill about 2weeks ago. Got 2cc put in and it didn't really do much. I went in today and got another 1cc put in. We will see how it goes! I have another appt in 2weeks cause he wants to check on everything. He wants to pull all the fluid and put it back. Just to make sure it's doing good! My fills have been painful! He said it will get easier the more weight I lose and I still have a lit of scare tissue there.. He just feels around for my port and puts the needle in and moves it around ???????? I don't like it it feels very strange! I just hate needles! Haha! But I'm hopeful it will get better! Plus it's worth it!! Like I said above I was banded 4/11/14 and I'm down -33 pounds now. My first goal was to be -35 by my b-day (June 27th) I'm pretty confident I'm going to make it!! I'm so excited and happy I chose this journey!! Oh and I didn't have a pre-op diet

The band is a tool! You have to use it as a tool! I was a emotional eater and ate when I was board. I'm still fighting it! I'm changing! You have to make a life change for the band to work. I had surgery the 11th of April and it's really hard and I go to the gym 3-5 times a week and try to stay active now that it's warmer out. It's a life change not a mirical cure.. It's a long hard road!

Hi! I had my surgery April 11th this year think I'm doing good! Down 33lbs! How horrible for her to do this to you!! I have a friend kinda like that. She just says oh well I've been doing this when I tell her how I'm doing. We don't hardly talk anymore. She never asks me how I'm doing.. I hate that people think this is the "easy way out!" It is not!! I'm doing more now then I was when I tried on my own. I also have pcos and it was very hard for me to lose weight! I tried everything like you I started at 14years old. I work out 3-5 days a week and I have to see people eating yummy bread/pasta but I've overcome that. I'm ok with it. It gets easier as u go along! I go in for my second fill in Tuesday. I'm still losing weight but I should be eating less. (Well I eat what I think I should then I wanna eat 30min later) but it is a long hard road and I'm only a month almost 2months out! But you will feel so much better hen u make this life change!! You can do this with or without her! Maybe she needs to know that! If you have other friends and family that support you stick with them! My husband is amazing and a great supporter! He keeps me motivated and watches me like a hawk! Haha. I'm here if you need a friend! I don't have any friends were I live besides my husbands sister and one friend I never see besides FB. I moved away from all my friends but I have my husband and a 2year old to keep me going! Don't let someone talk you out of what you know is best for you! I dunno what your weight and hight is but not everyone will have sagging skin! I mean some maybe.. But I would rather have a little lose skin then die from a heat attack or diabetes. Hope you have a great safe surgery! If you need someone to talk to look me up!! Good luck!

Thank you guys! I didn't have a pre-op diet. I have 4cc in my band now. I'm excited to go get another fill! I hope it gets better I hate only eating what I'm suppose to and feeling like I'm starving! I'm still going to the gym 4-5 times a week and I only weigh myself every 2weeks. So hopefully the weight keeps coming off!

I'm a little over 6weeks out from surgery down 30/31lbs. I went in a little over a weeks ago and got a fill. But I'm still hungry all the time.. Snacking cause I'm hungry! I called and made another appt for Tuesday to get another fill. Is this normal before getting to the green zone? It really sucks to eat what I'm suppose to and still be hungry or hungry 20-30min later.. I felt so good and was doing great then the last 2-3weeks have been sucky cause I'm hungry!! ??

I'm going in Thursday for my first fill at 10am! A few days ago I noticed I wasn't stay full after I ate. I was hungry 20min later. So I called and scheduled my first fill. Almost 6 weeks out from surgery down 30lbs. I'm scared to get my fill! Does it hurt? I guess I'm not so scared about the pain but just that I got use to eating things that I might not be able to eat after my fill. Did anyone have problems eating things after there fill that they ate before there first fill?

Got my fill! Was very strange feeling. He just pushed around to find it. I have 4cc in my band now. Today is my 6week mark and I'm down 30lbs. Dunno if that's good or not but I think I'm doing good!

Thank you so much! I feel much better! I guess I will just have to see what works! I know I need to chew my food better! Sometimes I forget lol but I try to count to 20 in my head or more just to make sure it's chewed very well! Thank you again!
