They just do a breath test at 6 weeks out....don't miss any doeses, be religious about taking it. Oh and go ahead and ask for something for a yeast infection and start taking that during the last week or so of the hypolori meds. This is what happened to me also. I was also pissed, but later I thought, well they found the hpylori before I had any ulcers so I was rather on thankful side. Try to look at it that way. It would be awful to get ulcers after we are banded. Dr. B might only make you wait 4 weeks...different docs say different things. Basically they just have to wait long enough so the anitbiotics don't make the 2nd test false negative. At least that is what someone told me. Well back to project central.....I hate the day before projects or due for kristen. The whole house is miserable because she always waits and saves too much for last. In this case....ALL. Even God had to take more than a day to make a 3 d model of wyoming,....who knew it wasn't just flat!

Okay...everyone is out of town for the weekend???? The girls and I went camping with girl scouts, and hubby helped a friend paint all weekend. Kristen is working on a project that is due tomorrow today, and I'm taking Karah to work with me. Nothing else exciting. I gained 2lbs, I'm hoping it's just water as my rings are tight. I was very hot camping.

Angie right now I'm just mostly sticking to Proteins first, not drinking with meals, and cardio. I have cut back dramatically on my weight lifting. Going to work it in spurts and see how that works out. Right now I'm doing 12 sets on each muscle group once a week. Doing upper body one day and lower body a different day. All other days I just do an hour of cardio (except saturdays and sundays are fun days...still move just not in an "organized" way.) The number one reason though that the scale is moving again is that I have restriction now. It's not all up to my over worked will power.

I switched to sugar free/skim/decaf hazelnut iced lattes or hot lattes for the most part. Just the calories from the milk, which is protien so I feel okay about it. I still occassionally get something else. I'd say once a week isn't bad...but you may find when the weight starts dropping you don't want to risk the calories on things as often...or at least that's what I have found.

Wow Jill, I think you did the right thing canceling her services too. I haven't gotten panic attacks in years, and I'm guessing mine were mild then from some of the stories I've heard. You will be alright, change the security code and go on. Have you heard of anyone else having been on wellbutrin having similiar side effects? It would be worth looking into...and checking to see if it something that can be treated. Not sure how much I would do before surgery though....I was always afraid of rocking the boat...lol and having another delay. But you cleared Pshcy...lol.

Junes pretty crazy for me, the 17th is the only possible day for a meet up...but not sure what time pauls reunion stuff is going on that day. July is shapping up to be pretty busy as well. I know we will be out of town 4th of july week and weekends before and after. And the last weekend of July is the big wedding for Paul's cousin. I'm guess I'm saying go with what works for most of you...not sure how my summer months are going to fit into any schedule. Kim...going to have to miss the June 5th? (monday night) support group because I have a meeting for the cruise...we have to set down and go over all the many rules for the girls and parents and girls have to sign all the paperwork and compliency papers.

Kathy I seriously want that shirt you are wearing when you are swiming in it! I just love it...and it looks SO good on you!!! -
Oh GAWD look at my huge ZIT! Where did our NC Picture thread go???? It just disappeared. Oh and I want to stand up next time...so all my fat doesn't spread so....my legs look humongous.

Thats what I had picked out if I went back to cpcc in the fall!!!! LOL But would in no way be through the program anytime soon. I want to work with other baratric patients in some way some how. If not exercise then just general office stuff. I talked to the fitness supervisor about getting certified as a personal trainer...she didn't act very encouraging. Some of the other trainers have been great though suggesting it to me. Of course the supervisor is also the one that gave me this HUGE lecture about only trained professionals knowing how to use a body fat calibrator. Some of the other trainers rolled their eyes at that.....so don't know.

Wow, if I don't loose any weight for a few days, I can't blame anyone but myself. I just had a large serving of ben and jerrys. I haven't had ice cream in like .....forever. It was just a "ice cream" kinda of day. Kristen and her friends are being emotional butts now that it so close to them splitting up. They are all going to different high schools. Day care tonight was CRAZY...I don't think it could have gotten any louder with all the screaming babes. Not to mention the trio of brothers that all had to beat on each other constantly. The other gals were talking about going out for a drink after....I hit the ice cream. Guess I am a stress / emotional eater afterall.

LOL, Paul actually uses "product" in his hair now....I think it's an attempt to hang on to the style a little longer.
-
No kids for me!!! yeah! Kevin works out of a salon called "shapes" on park road. He is great. I have perfect strangers compliment my hair all the time since he has been doing his magic. I can give anyone that is interested his number on Saturday. He will cut it like you want....but if you go in and tell him, do what ya want (like I do) you get great results...don't worry he will tell you what he is planning to do, and he will refuse to do something he thinks is awful (like kristen wanting black streaks in her hair or dying her hair purple)

Hi Tonya...I'm a Charlotte gal myself. I have gotten to work with both of the two top docs in the area for lapband...started with Dr. Vollinger...but due to time issues ended up with Dr. Bauman in concord. I'd recomend either of these doctors. Asheville is a beautiful area, we lived there 15 years ago for a breif time and I didn't appreciate it much at the time, because I was young and thought, there was NOTHING to do. Last time I was there it has really grown. If you can make it down to one of our meetings that would be great...we are a bunch of laughs when we get together.

Wow thats major, I'm not sure there is anything on this earth I could do or promise to convince Paul to take Karah to Dora. I bow to your superior power! LOL I can't wait for you ladies to meet Jill she is so fun. Btw Jill, you should go to Kevin...he is cutting the entires families hair now. I like him so much I let him fuss at me for not coming in more often. My roots wanted to make him scream. It took a banana frap from starbucks to amend. How come we only allow our hair dressers to abuse us like that? He made me make an appointment for me and Kristen before leaving. LOL
-
Jill it won't be long before it won't matter weather he or paul shaves their head or not! The bday twins have the balding patterns started. Pauls is most receeding hair line at this point...but was noticing the other day...the top of his head is SOOOO going to burn this year.

Kathy if it makes you feel better about keeping her home, I think most work and learning has come to a roaring stop. Kristen comes home daily telling me how such and such class got dispersed (thats probally spelled wrong). Yesterday she had a whopping total of two classes all day that actually had work and teachers and EVERYTHING. LOL Karah spent the day yestrday going and buying books from the book fair, eating lunch, snack, playing on the playground, and going to a in school play. Yep education at it best. I think the teachers have spring fever too. Just be sure she doesn't miss any of those End of grade testing thats going on in the next week or so. I hope she feels better. Congrats on the family biz that is huge!

Well I'm not sure if I think he is hot looks wise but I love his voice...patrick stewart. There is a book on cd "a christmas carol" that he reads. I asked for it for christmas one year simply because I LOVE his voice. Hey, I'm quirky. Vin Diesel is a pretty sexy bald man.

11:30 angie...so we expect to see ya!

Did liquids and crackers today (don't ask) and did fine, actually had Pasta and chicken for dinner with NO problems. I did have hot tea about 15 minutes before eatting today. Think that will hurt if I make that a ritual for awhile? It made things easier. I think I still have nori stuck in my sinuses though...it was bad last night. Karen I'm going to bring you samples of my most favorite Protein powders on Saturday so you can give them a try. I'm thinking of going back to school.....hey I need to be able to bring in a decent income in 4 years....gotta send the kid to college ya know.
-
Guess I'm doing self impossed liquids tomorrow. I've abused my band today. I tried to eat a bananna and got stuck....that was about 1 pm. Tonight I tried to eat sushi...why because it was there. And I got stuck...I'm not stuck now...pb'd...but kinda still feel yucky so sitting up a bit before I try to go to bed again. I was thinking maybe some hot tea? Sigh. I don't think I'm too tight, just plain not paying attention to how big a bite or how fast I eat. I've gotten stuck about 5 times over the last few days...so need to do the liquids.
-
Glad to hear you are on the mends. Take care of yourself and take things easy for a few more days.

The biggest reason why I'm glad I got a band rather than RNY

I have never been reported to have a fertility problem....but I do know that before I got pregnant with both children I lost a good bit of weight. The oldest I lost like 30lbs before gettitng pregnant, and the youngest right at 50lbs. I'm near the 50lb mark now and pushing hubby towards a vasectomy. LOL My doctors says that any large weight fluctation...especially down, will increase fertility. -
Btw, my church has a "coffee house" about twice a year. Its great fun, it is next saturday night if anyone is interested in attending. There is usually at least two bands, some poetry reading, sometimes a stand up comedian and some artist showing off their work. Admission is a donation ($5.00 recomendation) and refreshments including beer and wine are sold. Its casual and alot of fun, Kristen and I will be going if anyone else wants to come.

Just went to church and then came home and sat on my new couch all day watching movies. I ate, many times but never much at anytime. I must be starting the monthly swelling, it maybe a tough week ahead for me. Getting the golf ball thing is coming pretty frequently. I even had trouble when I drank too big a gulp of tea earlier. Going to take some water tablets during this week proceeding the monthly, that might help.
