My daughter made the avatar for me. LOL, I wanted her to draw me one but she was like this will be quicker :target:. She is 14. It's not that I don't like the other parts, cuddling, foreplay...but I don't like the fact that we have to go through all the steps, all the time.

Oh she is SO adorable...I'm jealous too. Though my husband would divorce me I think if I came home with another pet. I don't have any name suggestions though...sorry. I'm not good with names. I let hubby and the kids name our dog Iggy. I sound really stupid calling him. LOL

Going to have to go look at the puppy pic. He sounds adorable. Well I got in 2 hours of cardio this morning...Yeah I know crazy. I'm going to be SO damn sore tomorrow...I'm already feeling it. I went in to do my normal routine and one of the ladies talked me into doing cardio sculpt. OH MY GAWD! I'm going to have to stop talking to her...lol.

Oh thats is way too funny. My husband has already stated the next bed has to have posts...lol. I'll just have to make sure NO capes are involved.

I so totally agree, we would defiently have it more often if it wasn't an hour long commitment at least. Not that I don't enjoy it, but I can't do that day in and day out. Now a quickie here and there, that would be great. My neighbor used to call up and ask if I could watch the kids for 30 minutes cause her and her husband needed to go over finances. LOL Who can do finances in 30 minutes! LOL

lol, Jen can get it first, give her something to read while recovering. I'll be finished with my cardio by tomorrow, maybe even tonight if I mange to drag my sorry butt back to the gym for the spin class a friend teaches. I don't know if I'm going to have the energy though. Yesterday I did my normal cardio of 70 minutes, and my weights. Then I went back last night to take a class called "shut up and dance". Oh boy was it crowded, its a VERY popular class to only be in the 3rd week. It was alot of fun, and the instructor well he was certainly a character. You could tell he had professional dancing in his past. I have two left feet and will never grow any rythmm I'm afraid, but it was alot of fun.

Oh I'm so jealous....I so want to get to the point I"m ready for my tummy tuck. You are going to look GREAT. I'm so excited for you. My PS I had a consult with a couple of years ago said he wouldn't do both at the same time....it's nice to know I might be able to beg and plead a surgeon to do both at the same time. Though I don't need a reduction (not sure any of them will be left by then, but will defeintly need them re hung and maybe reflated.

Why are you overweight?
Dragonwillow replied to Cheri's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Had the early yo yo dieting because I was SO freaking huge in a size 10 as a teenager. Have the family history on my mom's side, everyone of her 7 brothers and sisters have weight issues except one who took after her dad. I really really like me some food, my life rotates around what I'm going to eat next. And exercise has been rather low key in my life until about 2 years ago when I decided to get religious about the gym. (hubby threatened to drop the membership). And if hypothyroid counts as an illness...lol I've got that too. So for me this up hill battle is pretty steep...but I've always wanted to give rock climbing a try...so going to make it this time. -
I tried to make me a cute little sig pic...but I tried to host it at image shack and it doesn't seem to be showing up. I know if I host it at geocities it will stop working from the acessing of it. (they have a limited number of times a pic can be viewed in a hour or something.) Where do you all host images at? Melissa

I got my first tattoo about 2 years ago when I lost 50lbs...didn't keep them off, but got to keep the tattoo. I want to get my upper ear pierced again...but want to get it done at a tattoo shop so I can wear gauged earrings. I got it infected before thinking i could stretch it from a regular piercing...ouch. I also want to get my belly button done later after the tummy tuck and I really really want a lower back tattoo. I want some type of celtic knotwork with a fairy. It would be great to some how put in some kinda of band relation or weight relation into it without looking stupid. Hmm and then maybe something on my shoulder? LOL Aren't tattoo's addictive. I also really would like to be able to wear some of hot topics stuff. My 14 year lives in fear that I'm going to start stealing her clothes when I'm closer to goal LOL. Melissa

Can I please vent for a moment?
Dragonwillow replied to sleepyjean's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
At least your doc didn't decide to break away from his group right when you were ready to get a date. I was already approved for surgery, had everything done but a date and when I asked for a date was told that my surgeon was leaving the practice and they didn't know what they were going to do about his patients at the time. I cried and cried...I was in shock...then I got mad...called back and they offered to call up a local surgeon in the area to see if he could take me on as a patient. Fortuantly there was a cancelation for a consult, I got in and got a date pretty quickly. I only ended up a month behind my fellow lapbanders that got to be the previous doctors last surgeries before changeing the practice set up. Every delay is very emotionally stressful for us. I think we pin all our hopes and dreams on this surgery because most of us see this as our last and only way to finally loose the weight. Unless you have struggled with weight I don't think anyone can truelly appreciate how emotional and stressful the entire process is and how every delay can feel like the end of the world. Melissa -
This week I set a goal to get in 6 hours of cardio. I was getting 5-6 hours of cardio in pre band, but haven't really stuck consistantly to it since. I have plenty of excuses, like everyone has been sick, my work schedule got a little too ful etc etc. But it feels great to be back on schedule this week...so far I've done 3 hours of cardio this week (started monday) and about 2 hours of weight training. I'm actually going back to the gym tonight to do a class called "shut up and dance". I love the dance classes, they are so much fun you don't even feel like its work. This week I went back to spin class, and as usual it kicked my butt. The problem with working at the gym is all the instructors know you, so they start pestering and pressuring you to come to their class, just so they can watch you die...lol. Seriously they are a great bunch of people to keep me striving for that next level. For fun exercise I really recomend the video game Dance Dance revolution. You dont' even have to be good at it, because it has a workout mode where you can mess up all you want and keep on going. My 14 year old has probally lost about 10lbs JUST playing this game over the last couple of months daily. It's available on xbox and on playstation. I've even seen it on the web sold as a free standing game/pad but can't remember where. If you do a search on ddr you will find where we talked about this game before. When I was just starting out I really enjoyed the richard simmons tapes/dvds. And i still get them out occassionally. Melissa

50 Reasons to reach my weight goal
Dragonwillow replied to Dianechef's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
That's a very good list. And it will feel great when you can mark things off of it as you loose weight. Melissa -
I noticed when we were out of town recently sex wasn't as dadblasted tiring as it used to be....and I think I actually said something like. Hey that was good, we should do that more often. LOL But then we came home and the kids, the dog and I have all taken our turn at being sick....but hey we should really do THAT more often. It'll be even nicer when I loose more weight, maybe I can keep up with my "marathon" man then. Am I the only women I know that has wished her man was more into "quickies" lol. Melissa

Diane I'm so proud of how positive you are staying, you are a rock girl! I'm proud to call you a friend. I'm trying to get back on the right track with exercise this month. I hadn't realized how sparatic it had gotten until I started logging it again. I made a goal to do 6 hours of cardio this week and I'm half way there already. If I make it this week maybe I'll try for 7 next week. Since thats what the goverment says we should have anyway...an hour a day. I'm also trying to be more concious of my protien and stay away from carbs. Feb is going to be a great month, I can feel it! Melissa

Cool Beans Kathy....I haven't lost any yet according to my scale....but I've done 3 hours of cardio this week and about 2 hours of weight training so that has to start moving soon. Melissa
