It was in Af rhythm(abnormal heart beat) for about 30hrs, they were getting ready to shock my heart back into normal rhythm but the medication they had been pumping into me finally kicked in a few hours before as after 48hrs your at risk of blood clot from it but after maintaining a normal rhythm for 6hrs I was discharged on meds for 6 more weeks and have to see a cardiologist to follow up as it shouldn't have really happened to me at my age and with no underlying issues so they think I may have had an underlying heart issue so best I get checked by a cardiologist from now on anyway, I'm all good now though and should stay that way x x

Had a heart issue so had a rough day wed n thurs but it's under control I'm at home and I'm in only a little pain drinking an ok amount of fluids!!! Can't complain so far all has been as expected!

Fab!!! Well I'm gowned in my hotel room waiting to be called!!!!!! Here we go (fingers crossed)!

Yeah from reading others posts I've had a good pre op but I've stuck to it to no cheating so I'm good with that! Just think how much into your weight loss journey you'll be in 2 weeks too that's the motivator! 1.5stone down about 9 to go lol x
-
Everyone's preop diets are so different mine has been 3 weeks of 1000kals a day low fat low carb so I've had omelettes and chicken salad everyday but I've found that ok I'd have struggled with liquid for 2 weeks! I have lost as of this morning 1.5stone on that pre op diet in 3 weeks though so wow!!!'

Thanks so much, as long as I come out of the other side with my health and complication free I can ride whatever waves comes at me next! Thanks though, and I wish you all the success and best wishes in the world x

Have PCOS-considering VSG
Bettygirl replied to lovesthebeach's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have PCOS that was only diagnosed when going through infertility treatment, prior to having my PCOS diagnosed I was banded lost over 6 stone fell pregnant had a lovely little boy but band slipped during pregnancy so band removed all my weights back and I'm having VSG in 3 days time!!!!!! My surgeons say I had the odds stacked against me with family history & PCOS to loose significant weight alone but that I will be over the moon with my VSG results ! Here's hoping!!!! Xxx I'll let you know how I get on x -
Yeah I could still say I'm happy doing it and happy with who's doing it, I just feel really anxious that a I wake up again (little bit) have life altering complications (more worried)! But overall I can take a deep breath and say this will be ok but there's that niggling feeling that won't go away till a few weeks after I guess x

Anyone else had a bit of anxiety & OMG a few days before surgery, if it's positive I want all it's got to offer but I'm terrified it goes wrong or I get complications :-( ???
