Thank you all for the well wishes....We're leaving out of town. DH's daughter is having a pool party at his mom's. Kat - I wish I had 1/2 the way with words that you do. (See?! That didn't even make sense!) Have a great weekend ya'll!!!

I like the sea world one. and the echo. No joke, I did know a guy that I went camping with. After a few days of not showering, and sleeping in his dirty tent, he had a twig in his belly button....

I'd never hurt a friend! And, cell phones don't work at sea. When us girls went, we had a buddy system. Too many of us got wasted and wandering around alone was not a good idea. Friend's niece had just turned 18, so she was upset with us for it. We told her: you don't go if you don't have someone with you all the time. Duh...dumb brat. We're in 30's to 40's and WE have a buddy system. Nah! Nevah! Long live the irresponsible drunk-dognapping-hooligan in us all. Whirled Peas make me gag. Ahh.. Thanks, Slim! Here's my dose of daily happenings: I still have a job! they told us we're moving across town - and that's the worst of the news. I will still work with Princess, but everyone else is getting split up. The bad managers here are no longer managers and Princess will be answering to a woman now. Ahh...justice. Moving across town means a longer commute, but there are van pools. It also means every other Friday off!!! I loved that schedule when I worked there before, and have missed it! Thank God that it's happening this way. I'll miss working with DH, but at least I can have lunch with him every other Friday. :sneaky: I'm so happy, I'm giddy. One of the managers said, "Good, because you have been grumpy!" I'm thinking, F-You, B - you knew your job was safe, even if you're being DEMOTED. HA! She got it wrong...I'm not grumpy I'm evil.
-
Ha! Actually, more like being pimped out by her own mom!!! Oi...I'm a fighter, that's for sure. I am tempted to see what kind of boxing ...what, club? ring? league?...I could join. Definitely an amateur, but I'd have fun I think. And, it would be legitimate, and no one would be trying to stop me or say, "Officer, no...she doesn't mean it - please, can we just take her home now?"
-
I would love the person who thinks it's okay to harrass people because they're "only" a couple hundred pounds to PM me directly. But, you know, those are the cowards that spew and run.

You called??? Everything here IS big. My butt, my boobs, my thighs.... HELLO. I have family in TX, VA & W-BY-GOD-VA. I feel insulted and abused in so many ways, it's resembling my past relationships... Like, "Wear this, bitch, while I take pictures?" Is that like Fire-Crotch? I start classes next Wed at the ghetto-college. Wanna come? I heard 80s hair could get you preggers. Why bother with Craigslist? You can go to Hooters and find jackasses everywhere.... Yes...just wipe that, um, liquid off. It's okay, I've been tested. A lot. 4....I wanted a trophy of "that night".

re: flour - ROLFLMAO Holy crap, that's funny. I'm tapped out! I have no more - I was never good at this.

re: Harry Potter. My MIL (to be) asked me this weekend how the movies are to the book. I'd seen the movie and been very disappointed in it, so was reading the book again to clear the trainwreck away. She's not a big reader and never has read any HP book. So, it occurred to me that if you hadn't read the books, then the movie would be good. It's not as in-depth as the books and true fans get grumpy at that, but as a movie it does stand it's own. As a parallel to the book - not so much. Funny, Manatee - my daughter went to see GI Joe (she's 12) with my mom and she loved it. I can't wait to see it. That's the kind of movie I love. Didn't see anything this weekend, but passed several movie theaters listing movies I WANT to see...does that count?

Heading out to work, but wanted to jump in and say "morning". Been unplugged all weekend (the inlaws don't have internet!) so will have to read the weekend-in-review later today! Happy Monday all!

Lu, we have 3 dvr'd, so if it was in the last 3 - nope. :wink2: I love her and In Plain Sight w/Mary McCormack. I think I'm attracted to tough broads...don't tell DH.

You're what we call "a keeper!" What a sweetie!

Ooh, sounds good! My uncles used to make moonshine (up in the hill of good ole WVA (a.k.a. BFE). They used to make a blackberry flavored moonshine that was sooo good! LOVE Nurse Jackie!!!! When we watch it, DH goes, yep...that's you. (Aside from the pain killers and boytoy/dealer on the side.) Sounds yummy! When is the party? I can bring the apples....:wink2:

So...yeah, it's not the chicken thread - but it does make me giggle. I'm waiting for the ones to come and say, "There are overweight mothers here who come here for support and how dare you make fun of them." I love the taxi one!!!! From Brandy: "Yo momma is so fat that when she rolled off of the bed, she rolled off BOTH sides. Yo momma is so fat that when she jumped for joy, she got stuck. Yo momma's teeth are so yellow, I can't believe it's not butter. Yo momma's so fat that when she wears a red shirt all the kids go "koolaid! koolaid!" Yo momma's so fat that when I swerved to miss her, I ran outta gas. Yo momma's so fat that when I tried to drive around her, I had to stop and ask for directions. Yo momma has so many chins that she keeps a bookmark in her mouth so she can remember where to stuff the food. Yo mama so fat when she wears a yellow raincoat, people yell out, "Taxi!" Yo mama so fat she rolled over 4 quarters and it made a dollar!

Oooh...I like it! Ooooh!!!! I like it better!!! It wasn't a euphamism? Darn. Is it really Friday??? I've been off all week on the days. I'm wearing jeans (casual Fridays) so it must be Friday! Thank goodness!!!

I love these. Why do I love these so much?
-
Mmm. Gravy! Another from DD: Your momma's so fat, when she wore yellow to school the kids yelled: the busses are here.
-
Your momma is so fat that when the waiter brought the menu, she said, "Yes, and a diet coke."
-
Exactly! Non-reality is more like it. :sneaky: But, still...their trainwrecks are fun and make my life seem sooo much better! When I'm not yelling at the tv. lol
-
I did like that he understood about them feeling uncomfortable.
-
GG - I feel the same! I watched it last night for the first time. We were channel flipping and I saw it so stopped it to watch. Not even recorded so I couldn't FF. I got so sick of how they'd be 20-something crying and whining "no one ever has loved me" and "I just want to be loved". I never had issues and I've been fat since I was 10. They don't need a man's love, they need Jillian Michaels, or a therapist. Where do they dig these nut cases up?

As I was reading these posts yesterday, my mom called me and said that someone had tried to break into her house. She was laying in bed and heard the door handle rattle. She thought my step-father was home early (he takes classes every day and has a bus driver pick him up early and drop him off around 4. So, this was around 10am yesterday) and she thought to herself, "Great, he left his key." and got up to open the door and no one was there. I said maybe it was a ghost! LOL She thinks, and it probably is, just punk kids, but it weirded me out that it happened while I was reading all these posts!!! Beth, my mom's aunt was really into witch craft/ghosts/siances (sp?) when she was younger, and when I told the family about the Ouji board she got angry at me. This woman was the softest lady I'd ever known and was surprised to find out that she'd been into all that. She told me that anything can be used as a portal, but the Ouji board, and how it sits on the knees, creates some kind of energy that attracts evil. That Ouji boards rarely, if ever, attract any benign spirits. She made me swear never to use it again, and believe me - she didn't have to ask me twice!!!

tee-he-heeee...I loved this. :huh2:

For the past week, FB has been open at work where before it was blocked. Now, we think it's a trap.

Interesting about the 4-leaf clover! My grandmother had that ability, too. I was always so jealous. No matter where she was, she find one. My aunts on my mom's side have several stories about waking up and seeing members as they passed, or right after. My mom has asked for signs and received them. For me, I also have a Ouji board experience. My friend in 7th grade got one for "fun" and went into her basement to do it (fully furnished, non-creepy basement) and we lit the fireplace, put a circle of candles around us and had fun. At first we were moving the marker, and have a silly time asking about crushes and grades and stupid stuff. Then, we asked more serious questions, and we both got a weird chilly feeling. We swore neither was moving the marker, asking questions about death...if there was someone in the room, etc. The marker would spell out things, or go to dates....I asked if Satan was in the room and it went to yes almost immediately, the flames in the fireplace turned blue, then went out, and so did EVERY SINGLE CANDLE we'd put in our circle. We let go of the board, and ran upstairs. I accused her of moving it, and she accused me - we were scared out of our minds and never touched it again. To this day she thinks I moved it and I know I didn't...but even so, we can't explain the fires. Funny that this thread got bumped. on the 28th of Aug, we're going to stay in San Antonio at the Emily Morgan - which is supposedly haunted! I'll let ya'll know if I have anything freaky happen!

DH is on both Farm town and Farmville. I dislike Town, but love Ville. It's just so cute! Tried yoville, but just can't understand it! LOL I am an old fogie, I guess. I will check out Wheel of Treasure...I love those kinds of games. I didn't think I'd like Farmville, but I do. I also had a friend sucker me into Castle Age - or something like that. I don't really play it, but I'm "active" on it...I just don't have time to figure it all out.
