I'll PM you...I don't want to ruin it, but I'd like feed back. DH was just rolling his eyes at my dismay over last night.
-
Thanks! I'm not sure about a Y...I'll have to check. I would love a personal trainer! I want someone in my face yelling. Huh...growing up, I called that MOM.

Okay all...I'm debating about a gym membership and need advice. I'm broke, for one, and can't pay a lot. Second, I'm lazy and am scared I'll get a membership and not go. I've done that before, about 10 years ago. But, the treadmill at home is old and we really need a new one. But, those are 'spensive, too! I think I'd get more out of a gym - if I went. I definitely want to step up the exercise, but there's a time, convenience and money factor. Any suggestions?

Exactly! The clap thing bothered me, too. And last night they were laughing at a very bad time. They're rude -seeming, I know it is tv and maybe things are exaggerated. Who knows why, but they just bug me. I like Heba and husband (orange, I think), and the red team. Heba started at the same weight as I was when I was banded, and I'm anxious to see how she looks as she slims down.

Like Twister, only not alcohol induced.

It is NOT October. I refuse to play into this. It's still June, isn't it? ISN'T IT???? *puts on bathing suit, flip flops, sunhat and laughs hysterically* I'm running for five minutes at a stretch now. Granted, I'm gasping and wheezing by the end of it, but I never thought I'd get to even this point. During the hurricane my friend who was without power for 2 weeks after, stayed w/me and I got on the treadmill. I think she was expecting a leisurely walk and I busted out in a run. I'll never forget the look on her face - she said, "You're running!" Uhm, yeah. I am. (For five minutes at a time with a one minute walk session in the middle.)

I'll keep my mouth shut since you haven't seen it yet. But I will say that now I'm not so convinced about Ali's win last year. Which makes me sad. I'll also say that I hate the brown team. Okay, that's it until tomorrow! I promise.

Where? I just did a search for Biggest Loser, and couldn't find it. I have gripes about last night's show!

Oooh...a rave! Wow. What a positive uplift. Thank you! :cursing: I've never seen My Size Yoga. Yoga scares me a little, but I may have to try it out. Do you need a lot of space for it?

Fish makes me gag! (Wait...where am I?)

Ew...okay...that picture just doesn't do it justice. They are way too yummy. Like funnel cake, only with a gooey center.

I've never been to Chicago! I would love to go, though. I had a good friend who was living there, but never got around to visiting her. I saw on tv there's a fast food joint where the lady insults you. I would like to go there. (I'm sick...what can I say?)

It's just weird for it to be cold in the am, then really freaking hot by the afternoon. I'm not used to that yet. It's also hard to believe it's really October. I mean, REALLY? October? Am I being Punk'd? Wait...no, can't be - I'm not famous.

My toes were cold coming in to work today. But, I was wearing flip-flops and had the windows down. I love this brisk, but not too cold weather! Having cold toes reminded me of my old mini-van. Almost 100k miles on it and the heater went haywire. I was living in VA, and it was winter. The heater would blow warm air if I was moving, but as soon as I stopped, it would blow cold air. The way to work took me through several traffic lights, and I was stopped a lot. I had ice INSIDE my window. That, I didn't love so much.

I caved! DH, after all his strength this weekend, went out and got ice cream. He has an ear infection and a sore throat and wanted something to soothe it. :cursing: I had some. So, today my count is back to 0 days without ice cream.

I can pass up Twinkies, but the fried version is good. Love the fried Oreos, too.

 Hi everyone! I wanted to add that I had a weak moment over the weekend. I had nothing in the house, and wanted to go get something at Cold Stone...Love that place way too much. DH said, "NO. You don't want that." Well, I hate it when people do that. YES, I DO want that, you hateful bastard! *stamps foot*. But, he just stared me down and I didn't do it. (loving him and hating him.) Thank goodness! I feel great.

Maybe if I shared.....?

Well, I know what I'm getting for lunch today. I jr. cheeseburger from the kids meal! I'm a cream and sugar person. Or now, non-fat, non dairy creamer and splenda. I like iced coffee in the afternoons. I'll make a small cup of coffee, about 1/2 full, and then add it to a big cup of ice. Sometimes I'll add some vanilla and milk to it. I'd like to add Bailey's, but I think the boss would frown on that.

I want a hamburger...Watched "How I Met Your Mother" last night and my friend, DH and I were practically drooling by the end of it.

Last night - normal walk/run regime on treadmill for 30 minutes total. I've mostly abandoned the c25k instructions and just gone with advice I read on a running thread. It said, walk until you're bored, run until you're tired. I do that, and I run longer than I ever thought I would. I can run for five minutes and not die. Who knew? This morning, I wanted to wake up early and do more. I ended up hitting snooze twice, but did get on the treadmill for 1/2 mile run in about 8 minutes. Not too bad for being 1/2 asleep. Now I'm at work, sipping my coffee and I feel GREAT! (Thanks for this thread! It keeps me going when I really don't want to.)

Hi, all...I admit, I've been somewhat slacking over the weekend. Sat, ran/walked for 30 minutes, then did floor stretches for another 20. It just felt good to stretch! I remember reading somewhere that if people stood up and stretched the way animals did each time they got up, then we'd be much better off. I've been watching my dogs and they do stand up and stretch the back legs, and their back frequently. And, sorry Cowboy fans - I had to root for my home team, the Skins, yesterday.

I'm not an early bird! DH will get up hours before he has to and I just don't get it. I roll out of bed, sleep during the shower, then slap paint on my face and head out the door.
-
 I did nothing yesterday. Wait...not true. I walked around the campus at work during my lunch, so that was 30 minutes of *strolling*. I don't count it too much because I didn't even sweat. I just wasn't in the mood. I went home and put on my workout clothes, but didn't do anything. I kept telling myself if I'm wearing the clothes, I'm one step closer to doing it. But, then I didn't. It's funny - today I'm feeling it! I'm groggy today and I know it's because I didn't exercise.

Hi, all...I have been modifying the program somewhat. I'm between weeks 2 & 3. I walk one minute and run 2. I think I'm ready for week #3, I'm just a little nervous to try it. But, I am doing it, and I go at least a mile each time. I never would have thought I could do this!!
