I've been saying all along that if Vicky wins, I won't watch next season. Which is a big ole bummer, because I love the show. I really hope they get away from all the drama. I am a reality show junkie, and I watch the crappy shows for the stupidity and drama - and that's fun for me on another level. Biggest Loser is a show I watch for inspiration, not drama. I have been looking on the blogs and some of those people get brutal. One person said her throat should be cut, and her kids should die. Another person posted her home address. I'm not sure what she's done to deserve all that! She's a be-yotch, for sure, but c'mon! I don't get how personal people get over this. Yell at the TV? Sure...but all that hostility? I don't get it.

In the first half they had to run around a race track wearing body weights w/what they weighed in the beginning. At each "pit stop" (one for each week of the show) then they were allowed to take off the weight that they lost at that corresponding week. Ed took off early in it and kept the lead all the way through. Michelle was second, then Heba and then Vicky last. The winner (Ed) won $5,000 and precooked meals provided by the Biggest Loser for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner from the time they leave until the live finale show. DH was kinda pissed because it's so unbalanced with Heba and Ed accounting for 50%. He won...so Heba won, too. I hate the Vicky's going to the last show...but oh, well. Michelle is, too, and that makes me sooo HAPPY! Ed totally water-loaded and that crap pisses me off so much!!!! If he didn't do that, and possibly lost what a large man his size should have lost, then Vicky may have been in the bottom. I agree - next year I hope Biggest Loser goes back to normal people - not couples. It's too unbalanced. But, it won't matter really, if Vicky wins, because I won't watch it anymore. If she wins it all, I'll be so disgusted by the whole thing. :tt1:

I hope you're right. I've already gotten DH's hopes up by saying if Vicky wins I'm not watching next season. I'd much rather see the triumphs and weight loss issues than get all worked up over the game play. And, I do get too worked up over it. I want inspiration, not backstabbing.

Renee and Michelle are the classiest people I've ever seen on reality t.v. I am in love with them! Amy's a dumbass. Huh, gee...let's see. If she'd kicked of Vicky, Colleen would have been around to kick of Heba and Amy would still be there. What an idiot. I think it'll be Vicky, Heba and Ed in the last 3...unfortunately. Grr. At least we get to see Renee and Michelle in the make over show! I can't wait for that.

I feel like Amy C did what she did just to get on Bob's good side. Is she in love w/him??? what's going on there? God, I'm a bitch. Muuuaaahhh.

Hello all...just checking in for accountability. I am still here. 30 minutes eliptical (it gets easier every day) then another 10 minutes of stretches. Lulu - I can't seem to nail the backhand on the wii tennis! DD can do anything with that remote, but I still don't get the tennis function!

Me, too! We paused it to read it, and what she wrote is just disturbing. Poor Amy. I was saying last night that she probably won't have the balls to stand up to Vicky and Vicky's a bully that will run right over Amy. What a psycho. I think Brady is okay by himself, but he has too much faith in his darling wife. I can't wait for next week! I was so happy when Brady left. Strength in number, eh psycho??? ha ha ha..I loved it!!!

Hi, everyone! I'm in! I've been lurking, but I've only had time to skim new posts and go. We've been going to the gym in the morning and in the evening. (Halloween kicked my butt and old habits came up.) But, I before that I was doing well, and now I'm back at it. MY PROBLEM? I'm not losing anything except motivation. I'm steady at the same weight, and I'm losing energy! I'm so tired, and I thought more exercise would get me going. It's doing the opposite. I spoke to a personal trainer and am considering forking over dough I don't have in order to get a good start exercising. He asked what I was doing and I told him running. Then he asked me why. I was stumped. um....Cause it sounded good? I dunno!!! His suggestion was that my heart rate was running to high and I was burning muscle and gaining fat. Is this true??? Anyone have this happen to you? I'm not sure if he was sincere or just wants me to sign up for the service. (I really want to! I'm just really broke right now.) What to do - what to do? I am not giving up, though...despite my 4 month plateau. AND, he said that because I have high arches I need New Balances. Anyone know shoes??? I thought exercising would be intuitive...but, good grief...it's not!

I actually was so pissed last night, I had to pause it to take a break. I love the red team and Heba is a big ole - B! I hate how's she thinks she's all that....so, okay...the blue team sends both Amy's home...who does she think the husband and wife will pick??? Hello? And she said nothing was going on in Phil's noggin...? I can't WAIT until she's voted off. I'll do a little happy dance right there in my living room. And, yeah - I liked her in the beginning. Now I really want Colleen...she's IS classy! And she deserves it. Okay....end of my rant for now! LOL

This is my favorite thread ever! I lost internet for a few days and started a new job last week, so I've been MIA. But, I can't wait for Posting Just to Post's B-day...I won't miss it! :grouphug:

Ack..been a crazy week - started a new job this week and lost internet connection at home for a few days. I still made it to the gym every day last week. Saturday we walked around the RenFest, and I admit - I was bad. Sunday we just chilled and recovered. Monday we jogged around the neighborhood w/the dogs. That was really fun. Today, back at the gym. Ran/walked/jogged for 30 minutes went almost 2 miles. I lost 2 pounds after hitting a plateau since May!!! I will get past this!

Just checking in...I have been to the gym 4 times this week. I even dragged my sorry butt up at 4:30 one morning because I couldn't go at night after work. It's a new job this week, so I'm struggling w/stress and NO COMPUTER AT WORK! argh. I miss my down time and my LBT! I beat my mile by 2 seconds today. ha ha...yeah, I know. I'm not hard core yet, but I'm getting there.

So far this week we have gone to the gym 6 out of 7 days. I am so proud of my family! We dragged our butts up today out of bed and went. I'm started to try more weight machines. I really want to work on my abs and get my belly fat down. I need to throw out the scales. Every day I feel more and more confident and am feeling GREAT. Then, I step on the scales and nothing. No movement at all. Very frustrating.

Me, too! I love that phrase. quote=luluc;1026747]to have an opportunity to hunker down for 3 months to work out; Uh-Oh...You said "hunker down". DH and I had a drinking game during Ike. Everytime a new reporter or statesman would say, "hunker down," we'd have to drink! So, this next sips for you, luluc!

Right there with you. I think I like Heba best, but each week I lean towards the red. Purple chick pissed me off when she blew the kiss. I couldn't believe that. Same about being on the fence.

Today: 35 minutes on treadmill. I'm still embarassed to run in front of people, so only 10 minutes of that was running. The other 25 minutes was walking on medium hill and at 3.5 speed. and I'm stiff and tired! but, I'm going again tomorrow because I want to be healthy!!!

Oh, yeah...and I love Clay Aiken. I thought he turned into quite a hottie...too bad he was just looking for the right man. *Sigh* Aren't we all....

I clicked here! I clicked here! and...wow. Yeah...Talk about a bad PB episode... Does anyone else find it strange that mention of Plain's genitalia caused Susan to go to bed? Can you have sweet dreams after that? Congrats, LJM!!! Aside from the baby, you're right where I want to be. I love his name! That's a great start. :w00t:

Nothing last night...it was our night off. Planning on getting an hour at the gym tonight.
-
ack...no time! I miss posting just to post, but I had to say: congrats on the puppies! *sigh* signing out again.

:crying: LOL...Thanks Leslie for getting my back! Plain, I'll do that thing that we did that one time in that one place, if you'll only just forgive me!
-
I love puppy breath! :crying: I really would love a puppy...but DH would kill me. I'd like some pics, too!!! Yes, V...We talked a long, long time and she's trying. I know it won't be overnight, so I'm being patient.

Wow! I love the gym! Yesterday, took DH and he jumped on board with joining. I'm not sure what we did...we were there for 2 hours, then we sat and signed papers. We did cardio and weight lifting. Today, DD and I went after school/work. Did 20 minutes on treadmill 10 on elliptical (hate it, really, it's official) and 10 minutes on bike, then 10 minutes of stretching. I do way more there than I ever would at home. Although, I'm a little embarrassed about running when people are there, so I just did a fast walk on the treadmill, with a little running thrown in. On the weekends I'm more comfortable since no one was there that early. Question: Should you do Cardio first, then weight lifting, or lift then cardio?

I'm just glad that today is OVER. I'm training my friend at work and that's, well...kinda tough. Especially when at one point she fell asleep and I had to remind her that this part (all of it) is pretty important. Doh!
