D'oh! Um....that didn't work.
-
posting to get to page #667... Yeah, I'm superstitious.
-
I just don't think I can do this.

Okay, now I'm, crying! I wasn't going to open the thread because of where it's located but then I saw RSG was the original poster. I have missed you RSG, and I feel you 100%!!! I have stalled for over 6 months and I don't know what to do. I do tend to drink with food, and I'm sure I could make better choices. I am glad to see you're back, though, and that you're getting a fill. You've encouraged me, and I think I'll call the doctor, too. I have been embarrassed, but I think I really need to get past that and just go in and talk to him. You are beautiful! And you have lost weight - pounds that WON'T come back! Keep in touch, please - we'll get through this slump together. -
That's too weird! Look at it this way, they're doing you a favor - I'm sorry, but they sound like the type of people that you'd want to stay 30 miles away. :crying: Yes! And bring puppies...! Yes! And play with puppies...(yes, I love dogs.) Susan, you sound like me! I'd hate to sit at home for that long, and would probably "release myself" before too long.

 Ah, geee..thank you so much! YOU are a knock-out, and your daughter is so pretty - and funny! We loved her laughter! You have a wonderful family - don't be too hard on DS, it's typical at that age, and DD just wanted to go the mall! And, I'm just now seeing this...My email notifications aren't working....:cursing:

Anyone notice Post Banders are a bit snobbish?

Hey, I'm proud to be a post-bander and everyone else should be shot. -

Gone4Now replied to El Diablo's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Ooh...those rascally newbies. I think that's it...it's not the pre-banders, it's the baby-banders who ask dumb questions or eat 3 burritos. -
Good luck, Fanny!

Man...Ya'll know me so well. Uncanny.

Man...I thought you got a gold watch. A toaster? I can't even eat toast anymore. I am, of course, only addressing my post-band companions. Pre-banders need not respond... -
I also noticed one team member...brown maybe?...went to refill his water in the gym and put some powdered protein in it. I guess it's the same product they're selling. TV Guide had a good article about the show. They said the prouct placements help to keep it on the air.

I was always partial to Go Dog! Go! I love dogs, fast cars and big hats with spiders.

My daughter is overweight, and we were told by the doctor to do low-card as much as possible. DD doesn't have diabetes, but is a likely candidate for it unless we change our eating habits. We let her have Cereal in the morning (the smart start oats kind, not lucky charms...) and then at dinner we have meat and veggies. Well, today I learned that my mother is bringing toast over in the mornings, after DH and I have left for work. I asked DD does she eat it, and she said yeah. Well, of course she will...SHE'S A KID! And, it's two pieces of TX toast, loaded w/butter (real). Mom knows that DD is "eating healthy" (not a diet) and she KNOWS it's lowcarb...I don't get it! So, I called her and yelled on her machine. She was out, and I just let her have it. Part of me feels guilty, the other part is applauding. Ugg. I just am so angry!!!! Why is she doing this? Why does she sneak my child food that she doesn't need? I yelled at DD, too. I asked why she thought eating TWO BREAKFASTS was okay? She just shrugged. I know it's not her fault for about 85% of it, but, like I mentioned to DD, I'm not there all the time and she knows what's healthy or not healthy. I know saying NO is hard, especially when the food pusher is sweet ole granny. I'm THIS close to cutting granny off.

I thought this season they were on the ranch longer than last seasons - maybe because of their heavier weights, I don't know. But, after they leave the ranch, there are sent home with trainer and diet help on a daily basis. I keep having to explain to DD that it's not "real time" that it's filmed way in advance. Allison Sweeney's pregnant belly is the key to that. At the finale in December, she was 2 weeks from her due date, then now, for this season, she started w/a little barely-there bump. Which, really impresses me about the time management skills of the producers, since they often do "timely" episodes for holidays and Super Bowl, etc. How can they do that exactly to match up to the corresponding holidays? I don't have the patience for that kind of meticulous planning.

For V-Day, we're seeing that movie. Total chick flick and I don't feel guilty for dragging him there. I liked the book - it helped me end a very bad 6 year relationship.
-
Yes, she is...and yes I do. - Divorce, that is - not murder. I think the divorce has begun...it's just a long one. Also, she's a good living example of how NOT to live.

You are! I love that picture - thanks for sharing. It's a sweet pic. Ha! That's funny...what wusses. DD has complained that since we moved to TX from VA she never gets out of school. I said, "What are you talking about? You got off two weeks for a hurricane...doesn't that count?"
-
Great idea! I would love to see them do that. It would keep folks honest, and be a true determination of who's working the hardest longer.
-
Manatee...Why do you think the purple team water loaded? It looked to me that the daughter was visibly upset, and I don't know why they would want to water load? Is it for bigger numbers next week?
-
I'm sad that one of the guys had to go. But, I really respect that most all of them voted to keep Dane there, despite Bob whispering to send them home. It shows that this group is thinking more with their heart than last season, which makes it harder and harder to find one that "deserves" it more than anyone else. It was definitely water works for me last night. That said, I am finding myself routing for the purple team. I think. And, I really don't like the pink team as much as the others. The daughter's way of talking just rubs me raw, even though she hasn't done anything on the show that deserves my dislike. I'm just being a little bitchy, I think, since no one's really shown "true colors" yet, except for Joelle and she's gone.

I think coffee is my favorite drink. I know I'm getting old because my favorite drink used to be Margarita's, on the rocks, with salt. (Still at #2, though.) But, now it's coffee. And, I used to only drink it in the morning, but DH and I have started making some after dinner. Where will this lead?
-
I'm just way too busy... I have the maids to organize, the massages to get, the nails to polish, the tan to deepen - you know, the little things that make life worthwhile.
-
Aaaahhhh...thank you. That is very sweet! And no boats were exchanged.

Should prostitution be legal?
Gone4Now replied to Carrie_C's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
At the risk of being arrested, I'll admit: I'm going to prostitute myself out. When DH gets back in town, I'm getting a damn boat.... -

I never got a boat for sex - all I ever got was dinner and roses...am I doing something wrong? ...stupid flowers.
