I get like that, only band related. TOM makes me not be able to eat much except for soupy stuff and of course, that makes me want crunchy bitefuls. Other times I love Soups.

Ouch, braces! I remember those. I hated every minute of them. And, like a dummy didn't wear my retainer so my bottom teeth are right back where they were. I feel for ya, Slim!

Lisa, Getting a fill helped me. I've been banded 2 years, only lost 60 so far. So...I dunno. I was hoping for faster, but it just ain't happening. Anyone familiar w/PCOS? I was looking up that brown skin thing again and a lot of the symptons sound like what DD has. (Other than menstrual cycle irregulations...) PJTP - DH and I went to a chinese buffett and I had soup and snuck out chicken bits for later...is that wrong? I figure, when I'd go there pre-banding, I'd eat them out of house and home, so sneaking out 2 chicken strips to eat later in the day is actually saving them money, right?

Oh, PJTP - NSV for me and my DD that I wanna share: Me: DH said today, THAT SHIRT'S TOO BIG FOR YOU! (yay...it was one that I didn't wear 2 years ago because my fat tummy hung out of it.) For DD - her scale isn't moving, BUT, she has ...lemme look it up again...acanthosis nigricans. (I never remember that name.) When her blood sugar is elevated, (but not high enough for diabetes - yet) it causes a dark thick ring of skin around her neck. So, we've been dieting and exercising and that dark ring is fading! I pointed that out to her yesterday and she was sooo happy over it! So, little NSV's getcha through, you know?

Never heard of most of those. Knowing I saw recently and loved it. It was hokey in some spots, but I really liked it. Even the screaming mom and overacting didn't put me off because I think I'd be screaming like that, too. :thumbup:

I think our sun's already up here...the sky is just a dull grayish color, but it's light. I, too, have no idea what insomnia is like. I've had nights where I'm restless and don't sleep well, due to sick or a new dog that doesn't know she CAN'T sleep there, but never because I wasn't tired. I wake up tired. :thumbup:

Donna doesn't FB either anymore...she's just dropped away. I haven't seen her for a while. I say everyone bombard her PM box until she's forced to come back! Later in the day I will give her a call and tell her to get her a$$ back to PJTP. Couldn't get my butt out of bed early this morning...wonder why, SNT?....but, DH said, "at least get up and take care of your farm on FB!" So, popped out for that! lol Gotta get ready for work now!

Sooo FB peeps know this: Went to gym tonight and there are 2 rows of treadmills. The gym was very empty tonight, and the whole first row was empty - 12 treadmills were empty. I took the 3rd one in. I agree! Saw it this past weekend. I thought this one was really slow and "artsy" in some places. I really don't think it did the books justice at all! But, then I think the books are great.

You know, I can understand the validity of her question: Will my meds interfere with my contraception? But....I don't get asking it here. She should be asking the doctor that - and not 4 1/2 weeks later! Maybe if she'd said, "Anyone ever have this happen?" and then still consulted her doctor about her own personal choices, then that would be different. Seeking that kind of advice here is poor planning, poorly - if at all- thought out, and just dumb.

Hmm...I like that thought though. She's touchy, so I could just slip it over her when she comes close! I want to work for myself, but I'd fire me for slacking off on LBT and FB all day.

Actually, she just left for lunch and I'm thinking of grabbing it. I am caught up on my stuff...shocker...and have nothing to do. And, PJTP is slooow! M'fer is a friend on FB, so I can't play too much there! She's a really awesome person, just can't work for sh!t.

If I did this right...here's stack one. I took this while she's on the phone giggling at something. I am not getting them - she will have to bring them to me. While she was on maternity leave, I had her desk spotless and kept up w/all of it. She was back in April and this is the pile that accumulated.
