I am two weeks and 4 days out of surgery. I began solid foods this week. My 2nd weigh in after surgery showed that I didn't lose any more weight. Now that I am back on solids it has been really hard to stick with a diet. I am still in some pain in the port area and also in the area where the tubing for the port is laying. I am taking ibprofen for pain. I am back to work but as usual tend to push to hard too soon. I also need to exercise. People at work have noticed my 30 pound weight loss. It is a nice feeling. I would like to lose more. I just don't seem to have the will power right now. I think the only time I have felt full is when I ate a piece of salmon with 15 grams of fiber. It was easy on the shake diet. I am really tempted to go back to that for one or two meals a day just to keep the weight loss going. In two weeks I will go back for what will most likely be an adjustment. It just seems I am not getting satisfied very easily. My five incisions are healing nicely. The longest one did itch a bit for a few days. I am really, really, really tired. I take naps as often as a I am able. I hope I get my energy back soon.
