No bowl movement since Tue day of surgery!

Please, especially if your're taking pain meds... take a lot of fiber and once you start eating, take laxatives if you're not having a bowel movement at least every couple days. I ended up with a bowel obstruction 2 weeks post op and it was absolute hell! I had to go to the ER.
