Hello. I found this site after being on a couple of others but this one seems far more helpful. I had always been real skinny and worked out everyday since 12 years old. I'm a former model with two degrees in that, certified in Industrial Safety/Hazcom, and fire brigade/waste spill clean up, with a wonderful career in comstruction working my way from laborer to superintendent for almost 20 years. I had a stroke at 33 and the trauma from an attack caused that and lost who I was and lived as another personality for almost 6 years before my memory started coming back. My new personality was nothing like the old. I have several health issues now and due to cushings syndrome were nothing we tried for 2 years worked, so to save my life my docs came to this sleeve bypass. It was worth it even though I have vomited since day 1 from April 3, 2012, to finally stopping February 2014. The journey in its totality has been hard but kept up my spirits didnt give up because nothing is going to stop me from laughing, my favorite ting to do. I spend most my days now getting my house in order so no one else will have to do it even down to from working with my brother in the funeral busiess and seeing crazy things happen making sure I have not only a will but a living will with my wishes for my body, but not looking for that to happen for at least another 50 to 70 years. :) I love cooking, baking, etc. more now than before surgery because I really hav an appreciation for food, only I cannot eat it, but a lot of it goes to some homeless people I adopted, and love love love watching movies, tv. I'm just getting back outdoors where I love to play. I have completed 2 bucketlist and working on a third. I have lived 2 lifetimes worth and thought when I got really big after being so small, I was not prepared for what would happen next, but I took it all in stride, because I'm not going to get into my playtime or playdates with a unch of unnecessary stress or worry. I hope to be able to be a lifter and thruster, encourager, trying to always stay on the bright side of life with a sick and twisted sense of humor. I look forward to meeting you and seeing you do what you may have never dreamed you could. :)
