Wow! Things finally turned aroundin an awesome way! Hopefully, we conceive through this ivf in a few weeks. We've been trying for 5 years total now.

Pregnant after sleeve and tubal reversal

Thanks and I'm glad to hear that you and hubby finally got your babies. Was it natural or did you do ivf or what, if you don't mind my asking?

Pregnant after sleeve and tubal reversal

I actually had my tubal reversal before my sleeve. Reversal in 2012 and sleeve in 2014. I've been successfully pregnant about four times but no baby yet. Three miscarriages and the last was ectopic. I'm currently beginning an ivf cycle. Hoping this works. Dr seems to think a low egg quality due to my age or our sperm morphology is my problem now. I'm 39. We are still hopeful.
  4. Oh ok. Our insurance didn't cover the tubal reversal either. We financed it through Care Credit and paid later.
  5. Yep and we're out of pocket on this.
  6. The sleeve. Oh lucky you! My ins doesn't cover bariatric surgery.
  7. Oh ok. How much is it in NJ?
  8. Yes please do. I probably won't be far behind you. Where are you having yours done?
  9. Yes it is. I'm not scheduled yet but plan to schedule soon. Have you chosen a dr or scheduled yet?
  10. Yes it is. I'm not scheduled yet but plan to schedule soon.
  11. Chemical pregnancies are pregnancies that do not stay long enough to be confirmed at your first official prenatal appointment. It's basically an early miscarriage. I missed my period, tested positive but the positive fades away days later and turns into a negative before the onset of a seemingly heavy period.
  12. I have open tubes and have had three chemical pregnancies. Doctors claim that they can't find any reason why the pregnancies weren't holding other than I needed to lose weight, soooo that's another reason I'm hoping that a gastric sleeve will help.
  13. We paid $5500. Recovery went well. I was very sore in the lower abdomen immediately after the surgery but it got better hours later. Later, it only hurt to cough/sneeze, go from laying down to the sitting position or from sitting to standing position. I was healed and ok in a little over a week. The incision is at the pubic bone. Pillows were needed between me and my seatbelt for the first few days to lessen the bumps when riding in a car. I had Tylenol 3 and by the time they ran out, it was smooth sailing.
