Thank you! I'm trying to figure out everything I'll need in the hospital now because I'm a terrible procrastinator. Hopefully there's a post here that can help -

Hello all! I was approved by insurance and now waiting on a date from my surgeon! Can you guys tell me what I need to bring to the hospital also good things to have at home for first weeks of recovery? I have no help. I am a mother to a 3 year old. If anyone has advice to dealing with children while healing, that will also be appreciated Thanks ???? -

2014 Chicago Sleevers

Hello all! I'm new to the entire WLS process as well.. I was starting my process at Rush because I've gone there my entire life, but my insurance through my dad (BCBS IL PPO) only allows for surgery at a center of excellence and my insurance at work (BCBS IL PPO) requires I pay a 2500 deductible.. So I will be going to a center if excellence (lol).. I attend UIC, but I'm thinking of going to Little Company of Mary.. Love reading everyone's stories and seeing all the support in here! Congrats to everyone and good luck with surgery Monday! -
Because I'm happy, clap along if you feel like a room w/o a roof.

First off, CONGRATS! Everything seems to be going really good for you! Is this UIC or Univ of Chicago you're talking about?
