    Appetite supressant

Not trying to be smart or mean when I say this. You will have to make changes after the surgery without the wight lose suppressants. You will have to change eating habits and drinking habits. It is hard to do this even after surgery. A lot of times we are not stomach hungry but head. I am three months out and still fight it. You see someone with something and think I am hungry also. Stick to your two shakes and high protein meal. This is how you will eat after surgery. I had to do a two week clear liquid diet before surgery. During this time my family had a get together for three days. I watched them cook and eat all of my favorite meals and did not eat a bite. I knew my life was changing forever. You can do this. Get you some Greek yogurt, unsweetened apple sauce, chicken broth to drink and eat between shakes. They will help you.
  2. I joined a couple forums on Facebook to check them out. Oh my goodness needless to say the support was in the form of being a bully but the worse part was the language they used. Every other word so nasty. I am so thankful for this page and the administration of it.

    Bathroom?

My doc suggested liquid Phillips milk of magnesia. The first time I took it nothing and he said because I had nothing in my system. Then when I hit real food I had one. The first one hurt and because of the little food amounts I sometimes still need the Phillips.
  4. He reason I am obese is because I loved to eat. I love to eat Hamburgers my most favorite meal and French fries. I loved fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy. Oh don't leave out the Mac and cheese. I loved pizza oh my gosh extra cheese and cheese bread. I could name all the stuff unhealthy that I loved it would take a while. I loved it and that's what I ate. I hated food that was good for me. You know grilled chicken or baked fish. Vegetables not loaded in butter. Salad that was not over flowing with ranch dressing. The things that would help me I hated. I would rather had not eaten the. To eat it. Then there were always the diets yes those. The diets of salad with a spoon of dressing. The no red meat only turkey. The no bread or carbs. They would work I would lose a few pounds and then I would go somewhere and see cake. You guessed it I would eat cake. My doctor put me on a diet one time and said quit smoking at the same time. I didn't lose a pound at that diet. So I oped for the sleeve 4/25/14 I have been told how you can diet like my son did. You should go to the gym and work out. You need to change what you were eating. I want to scream I have done that for 45 years and it did not work. Call me what you want but I LOVE food!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I since having the sleeve have lost from 259 pre surgery to 210 today. I am proud of that and at 4'9" tall it is hard to hide 259 pounds. I love rotisserie chicken and pork chops. I have pinned recipes from pintrest for my sleeve. I gave up soda ( would drink a twelve pack a day). I do drink one glass of sweet tea a day. Other than that powerade zero or g2 Gatorade. I love my new life that this surgery is giving me. It was a slow start but I will get there.

    Surgery 4/25/14 two months pictures

Yes I have hit stalls and am in one now. I am at 210 49 pounds since surgery and pre op. I get so nervous on stalls. Then I read and say this will work out.
  8. I would advise you to start sipping slowly that was a hard one for me. I was told to but didn't because I have always been a gulper and after surgery it hurt so bad to gulp. Some don't have the problem but many do. So sip and do the baby fork and spoon bites. My nut told me 20/20/20. 20 bites , 20 chews for each bite and 20 seconds bête week bites. I do not usually make 20 bites. Stock up now on crystal light, g2 Gatorade or powerade zero, flavored water, canned chicken, tuna, chicken broth, sf jello, sf Popsicles all the foods you are able to eat after. I hated the store where I lived it did not carry what I needed. Follow your dr orders about exercise after surgery. And most important remember you will be fresh out of major surgery don't over so it. Get your house clean, laundry done and all those things before surgery. Just advice from someone who did not do it right.

    Soft foods HELP!

I have been doing the crockpot thing. Never cared for one before but found tons of ideas on pintrest. I searched WLS recipes on there and it came up with so so many. Also I hated canned chicken before but my new tummy likes it. The eggs don't need to be dry. I just found the worldaccordingtoeggface.com and have gotten ideas. This is a new world for us and we have to teach ourselves over.

    Soft foods HELP!

The over whelming feeling I can relate to. I feel this way daily. I don't know about the food one thing a week. I do know with all the change our taste change also. So be careful things I loved like cheese post surgery I don't care for now. I did not like eggs but enjoy one scrambled now. So eat slow because you get full fast. I over ate the first couple times eating fast don't do that. It is not fun lol. Best of luck on new foods.

    Could my body reject surgery?

My sister in law tried the medifast diet and after a week found out she was allergic to the ingredients in the food. So maybe it is something in the protein drink. You also need a shot of steroids for that rash to start healing.

    Full too fast?

Water made me sick to my stomach at first. I think it could be part of the healing with some. I read several people couldn't drink it plan. I would add milo, crystal light something I could tolerate to get in some liquids. I am almost two months out and still only get around 20 oz of liquid a day.

    2 months post op

I was having this issue and found to much spice was causing it. Before surgery we loved spicy food in our house so we still used it to cook. Now I don't use it or have onions and my stomach acid went away.
