  1. Im frustrated and getting discouraged. I've done everything I've needed to do and just sitting around waiting on insurance to get to approving my surgery... my insurance is changiend July 1st and I don't know if they will still cover WLS... so frustrated!

      Try not to be discouraged. It took approx. 6 months after my first dr visit before the surgery actually took place. Stay after your doctors office that seemed to be my delay. But relaize that your will need to be patient especially after surgery.

      If they have all of your paperwork, depending on which company you have,it should only take about two weeks to find out. Give them a call and find out if they have everything they need to make an informed decision. They will tell you if they need anything, if your approved, or (hopefully not) denied. Since the insurance changed, maybe the requirements did? Call and find out.
