Hi all! I'm 26 and was sleeved on May 1st. My starting weight was 266 and now I am 188. I'm still struggling with some things but every day gets easier! I am very happy with the choice that I made. Follow me on IG: amiliz06

Well I am 6 days post-op and I am feeling pretty good. I am down 10lbs from the date of my surgery and down 20lbs from my pre-op visit. I am getting better with getting the 64oz everyday but I am struggling with the protein. The shakes make me sick. Is anyone else having this problem?

Well they didn't take the gas out and I've been nauseous from all of the pain. Once that subsides I'm sure I'll be just fine. I've been living off of the liquid roxicet that they gave me.

Well today is my first day home from the hospital. As expected I am in a lot of pain and still have a lot of gas that I am unable to get out. I am having a hard time with the fluids but I am doing my best so I don't end up back in the hospital dehydrated. I feel hungry but I am pretty sure it's all in my head. How are all of the other May 1st sleevers doing? Oh and I started at 260and I am down to 246 after a week.

Well my big day is this Thursday. I must say I'm still pretty excited but I am starting to get nervous now. I thought that this day was going to take forever to come but it has flown by. Fortunately I did not have to do a post op diet. The I can have breakfast on Wednesday and the liquids for the rest of the day. I won't know until Wednesday what time I have to be there in the am.

Luckily I have a HUGE support system and my hubby is on board with me 100%. Dr.Felix with Hope Bariatrics is doing my surgery. Luckily I know a few people that have gone to him and have hade amazing results.

I'm having my surgery on May 1st. I currently feel the need to eat everything that I'm never going to be able to eat again before that date. My doctor has not mentioned the 2 week preoperative diet. I go to see him on the 23rd and I'm thinking it may start then. I am very excited for this new journey! I am very thankful that I found this site!
